  Melissa Rivers is reportedly dating XXX honcho Steven Hirsch — the man responsible for bringing the sex tapes of Kim Kardashian, Pam Anderson and Kendra Wilkinson to the masses.

  According to TMZ.com, the host of E!’s “Fashion Police” and the Vivid Entertainment CEO met through “mutual friends” and have been dating for “a couple of weeks.”

  Kevin Federline rushed to hospital after collapsing while filming weight loss show, reports say

  Britney Spears’ ex-husband had a misfire with his battle of the bulge.

  Kevin Federline was hospitalized in Australia for “heat stress” while filming “Excess Baggage,” the Oz version of “Celebrity Fit Club.”

  E! News reported that the competition was filming in the Kimberley region of Outback Western Australia in November, which is “widely regarded as one of the most remote and hostile parts of the country,” when Federline was “taken to hospital as he was showing signs of heat stress.”

  November is the hottest month of the year in the Outback, with daily temperatures averaging more than 100 degrees.

  Aww.... No reality show for Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison

  Courtney Stodden fans will be crushed to learn that the 17-year-old minx’s reality TV show dreams have been derailed–at least temporarily.

  Stodden and husband Dough Hutchison, 51, reportedly turned down a spot on “Relationship Rehab,” a spinoff from “Celebrity Rehab” producer John Irwin.

  “Though Doug and Courtney considered the offer, in the end they felt that this wasn’t a perfect fit for the kind of show they wanted to do,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “There has been a lot of speculation about their marriage and a lot of people are just waiting for the inevitable ‘train wreck’ to happen, but Doug and Courtney have an incredibly strong relationship and seem very happy together.”

  The premise of “Relationship Rehab” is much like “Celebrity Rehab,” documenting couples living together in a group home in Los Angeles, getting counseled by “world renowned therapists” and participating in “therapeutic activities” and “planned events” over the course of eight episodes.

  Gene Simmons is not impressed with Madonna’s live performances.

  The star of “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” openly blasted the NFL for tapping Madonna, who often relies on augmented audio effects during concerts, to headline the Super Bowl Halftime show in February.

  “I don’t think it’s appropriate,” Simmons told TMZ.com when asked about the Material Girl’s football debut. “If you’re going to get up, do it real. Do a real band, or tell everyone it’s a tape. I hate tapes.”

  Lindsay Lohan after Heath Ledger's death: 'I'm in love with him'

  Lindsay Lohan confessed to having a secret relationship with doomed Oscar-winning star Heath Ledger, according to her diary, written in a girly pink pen.

  “Today Heath died,” Lohan reportedly penned on January 22, 2008. “I’m in love with him … He was the love of my life. He taught me so much, and he was everything I’ve ever wanted and more. I want to hear him laugh and hold me. I crave his touch and care.”

  Star magazine, via RadarOnline.com, obtained the journal kept by the troubled starlet, who broke down in tears after hearing of the “Brokeback Mountain” star’s death from an overdose of prescription drugs at 28. “When a person dies the world stops,” Lohan wrote. “I’m numb.”

  Study finds conservatives favor work-centered shows, while liberals prefer comedies

  Want to find out someone’s political leanings? Ask them what is their favorite – and least favorite – TV show.

  Consumer research firm Experian-Simmons, commissioned by Entertainment Weekly, prepared a survey of what self-identified “Liberal Democrats” and “Conservative Republicans” are likely to tune in to watch on the boob tube.

  The findings show that media-savvy comedies with a sarcastic bite and morally ambiguous antiheroes attract liberals. Conservatives tend to watch serious, work-centered shows, along with reality competitions.

  NBC’s “30 Rock” and “Parks and Recreations” score high among Democrats, while History’s “Top Shot” and ABC’s “The Bachelor” earn nods from Republicans.

  Coupon queen Kate Gosselin runs marathon in Sin City

  Kate Gosselin recently took a break from her duties blogging for CouponCabin.com to run in a 26 mile marathon in Sin City.

  Wearing a shirt that read, “Finishing Is Winning” on the front and “My first 26.2 for all the nonbelievers” on the back, the mother of eight ran through Las Vegas, Nevada during the Zappos.com Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on Dec. 4, RadarOnline.com reported.

  Gosselin, who recently shot down rumors of having a facelift, looked trim and athletic posing at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino before the start of the race.

  Giuliana Rancic announces she'll undergo a double mastectomy

  Giuliana Rancic plans to have a double mastectomy.

  The E! host, who made her battle with breast cancer public back in October, made the announcement on Monday’s “Today Show,” saying that a series of radiation and lumpectomies were ineffective.

  “For me, it was important to get the cancer out,” she said. “That’s what I wanted to do, just get it out.”

  After a long discussion and a legal pad filled with pros and cons, Rancic and her husband, Bill Rancic, decided to move forward with the radical procedure, which removes both breasts entirely.

  Scarlett Johansson steamed over Blake Lively snatching her leftovers?

  It looks like an A-list cat fight has broken out between Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively–and it’s all over Johansson’s hottie ex-husband, Ryan Reynolds.

  “Scarlett is pissed that he’s not under her spell anymore,” a source snitched to Us Weekly. “She realized what a great catch Ryan was.”

  Johansson ended her two-year marriage with Reynolds a year ago, and quashed any chance of a reconciliation with her handsome ex-hubby when she hooked up with Sean Penn earlier this year.

  “Ryan would have gotten back with her. He was so totally in love,” said the source. “But then she flaunted Sean right after their split, and he was done.”

  Also boiling Johansson’ kettle is the fact that the Gossip Girl star seems to be getting serious with Reynolds.

  “Things are great (for Lively and Reynolds),” says the source. “They haven’t had a fight yet!”
