  Natasha Bedingfield goes country and builds self-esteem

  Natasha Bedingfield, perhaps best known for “Unwritten,” her catchy theme song for MTV’s reality hit, “The Hills,” has left her pop roots and gone country–at least for her debut on the 45th annual Country Music Awards.

  “It’s such a small world and there’s so much music out there,” the blonde Brit told “Fox & Friends” this morning. “It’s so much fun to dabble in a different style.”

  Grammy-award nominated Bedingfield finds inspiration for her songs from the heart. “I just sing about life,” she explains. “I think that love happens to be one of those subjects that is dear to people’s hearts. I love how country music is about real things.”

  Hollywood hookup? Scarlett Johansson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt caught 'making out' in NYC

  Well, that was fast!

  After a series of high-profile relationships with Sean Penn, Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson has reportedly moved on to “50/50” star Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

  The “Lost in Translation” beauty was spied making out with the indie movie heartthrob in New York City last month. “They were kissing,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “They were very lovey.”

  This wasn’t the first time the unlikely pair were spotted together. The couple reportedly dined at Hundred Acres in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood in late July.

  A source told Us Weekly that Johansson and Gordon-Levitt have been “discussing a project for a while (but) have never kissed.” Another insider told the magazine, “They first met about a film they wanted to do together, but it’s gone beyond that now.”

  Meanwhile, the actors’ reps insist that there is no hanky-panky going on between the two stars. “She is not dating Joseph,” Johansson’s spokesman was quoted as saying. “They are discussing a potential new film, nothing more, nothing less.”

  “They have met up a couple times, as they are discussing working together on a project,” Gordon-Levitt’s rep explained. “But the night that Us Weekly’s source spotted them ‘making out,’ Joseph wasn’t even in NYC.”

  Ali Lohan makes debut as cover model of Fault magazine as courts find fault with big sis Lindsay

  While Lindsay Lohan posed for her fifth mug shot yesterday after being hauled off in handcuffs for failing to meet the terms of her probation, her little sister Ali graced the pages of Fault with her first magazine cover as a high-fashion model.

  The younger Lohan, 17, who now prefers to be known as Aliana, poses in a series of black and white photos for the magazine’s winter 2011 issue, which hits stands in November.

  Lohan, who first entered the public eye with her 2006 debut album, “Lohan Holiday” when she was just 12, has been criticized for her recent dramatic weight loss.

  “She is very underweight,” Dr. Majid Ali, who has not treated Lohan, told RadarOnline.com last month. “By looking at her cheekbones you can tell she has muscle wasting going on.”

  Robert Downey, Jr. asks Hollywood to give Mel Gibson a second chance

  Robert Downey, Jr. has been through his own share of troubles before making a comeback in Hollywood, and now the “Iron Man” star wants the film-making community to give Mel Gibson a break as well.

  “Unless you are without sin–and if you are, you are in the wrong f***ing industry–you should forgive him and let him work,” Downey said of Gibson, who has a long history of violent infractions, including a anti-Semitic tirade following a DUI arrest in 2006 and a series of threatening phone calls to former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

  Demi Moore down to just 90 lbs. after allegations of hubby Ashton Kutcher cheating, reports say

  Demi Moore’s reportedly troubled marriage to “Two and a Half Men” star Ashton Kutcher appears to be taking its toll. The gorgeous 48-year-old stunned onlookers when she arrived solo at the New York premiere of “Margin Cell” on Monday, looking wan and frail.

  “Everyone was remarking how thin Demi was, more so than usual,” an observer at the premiere told Us magazine. “She’s very upset, and hasn’t been eating,” another source told the magazine.

  An expert estimates that Moore, who stands at 5′5″, appears to weigh just 90 lbs.

  'Twilight' star Ashley Greene's family okay with her nude pics on Internet

  “Twilight” star Ashley Greene made headlines in 2009 when nude photos of the then-22-year-old beauty leaked on the Internet, but she tells Allure that she took the scandal in stride.

  “One of my family members said to me, ‘Ashley, everyone does it. You’re just famous.”

  (Everyone? Really?)

  Anyway, while her family may be okay with nude pics, Greene’s mom draws the line at her daughter dating an older man.

  Shannen Doherty says 'I do' for the third time

  Let’s hope that the third time is a charm for Shannen Doherty.

  The former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress married fiancee Kurt Iswarienko at a sunset ceremony in Malibu on Sunday, reports People magazine.

  The black-tie affair, held at a private hillside estate, was a decided departure from Doherty’s first wedding to actor Ashley Hamilton in 1994, where the bride said “I do” wearing a bathrobe during an at-home, poolside ceremony.

  Doherty’s second marriage to Rick Salomon in 2003 was annulled after seven months, amidst the release of Salomon’s homemade sex tape with Paris Hilton.

  “It was a really hard marriage,” Doherty explained to Details magazine. “When it ended, it was a heart-crushing thing.”

  With two marriages under her belt, Doherty, now 40, claims to be more mature about matrimony. “Marriage to me is such a gigantic commitment that it’s not something I’d ever go into lightly anymore,” she told People last year. “I’ve learned my lesson.”

  Ashton Kutcher's alleged mistress took two pregnancy tests, report says

  Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and the rest of the world can breathe a collective sigh of relief. Sara Leal, who said she was Kutcher’s San Diego hot tub hottie, is also apparently not pregnant with the “Two and a Half Men” star’s child.

  Leal’s self-proclaimed best friend, Jonathan Rockelmann, told RumorFix.com that the 22-year-old was “worried” after her wild one-night fling with Kutcher that she “might be pregnant.”

  Last week, Leal told Us Weekly magazine that she and Ashton had unprotected sex twice during their early morning romp at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel on September 24, which also happened to be Kutcher and Moore’s sixth anniversary.

  Leal took two pregnancy tests on Wednesday, and both came back negative, her friend told the website.

  Rooney Mara would.

  And did.

  Mara’s drastic transformation to land what Vogue magazine called the most sought after role since Scarlett O’Hara in “Gone With the Wind” wasn’t easy.

   To achieve the edgy, boyish style of Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” director David Fincher brought in hairstylist Danilo to give the “Social Network” actress a new look.

  “[He] cut my hair, shaved the sides, bleached the eyebrows, then dyed my hair black,” Mara told Vogue for its November issue. “Then we went and did the piercings—all in one day. I went in looking like Erica Albright and I came out like this.”

  Besides her nipple, Mara, 26, had her brow, nose, and lip pierced. Makeup artist, Pat McGrath was brought in to help further bring Salander to life.
