  • Deportation of Sofia Vergara's brother latest in long line of family tragedies

    Meaghan Murphy |

    (Joshua Jordan/O Magazine)

Emmy award-winning “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara may be all smiles on television, but in real life, the Colombian-born star has endured more than her share of heartbreak.

The bombshell suffered from her parents’ divorce in 1993, went through her own divorce at age 20 soon after giving birth to her son, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2000 (she is currently in remission), had her father die of a brain aneurysm, saw one brother gunned down, and now has seen another brother, Julio, deported back to Colombia.

“ICE placed Mr. Vergara in removal proceedings on April 26,” read a statement from an Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson. “An immigration judge determined that he was no longer eligible to remain in the US because his criminal convictions are considered felonies under U.S. immigration law and ordered him removed to his home country of Colombia.”

Star magazine reported that Julio Vergara had been arrested nearly 30 times on various charges, including drinking in public, assault and battery, petty larceny, pot possession–and felony arrests for grand theft and cocaine possession.

Julio Vergara was deported on May 9.

    Meaghan Murphy |

Tori Spelling, whose pneumatic breasts have been the fodder for gossip columnists and nosy bloggers since her days starring as virginal Donna Martin in the ’90s teen soap, “Beverly Hills 90210,” wishes she left Mother Nature alone.

“Well I got my boobs done in my early 20’s and if I had known it would or could possibly impact production of milk, I would never had had them done,” Spelling said in an interview with “Good Morning America.”

    FOX 411 | Editor

Like any expectant woman, an 8-months pregnant Jessica Alba has motherhood on the mind and is discussing it in her cover story for Lucky magazine.

Curiously however, the magazine opted only to use photos of the actress before she was pregnant and spend a significant chunk of the interview asking her what she plans to do to lose the weight that they so clearly didn’t want to show.

The internal photos, which look to be almost a year old, show Alba in a series of figure-hugging dresses. The cover shows the star looking svelte and boasts an interview that discusses her “nudity and hating diets.”

Inside, she offers up quotes on slimming down after the birth of her first daughter and how she plans to drop the pounds after her second child with husband Cash Warren.
