  • Jennifer Aniston thinks her relationship with Justin Theroux is 'awesome'

Jennifer Aniston has some serious requirements when it comes to boyfriends, and presumably, current beau Justin Theroux manages to fit the bill. “I would say I couldn’t be in a relationship without equality, generosity, integrity, spirit, kindness and humor,” Aniston reveals in the new issue. “And awesomeness!”

Now that the long unlucky-in-love star has settled into an “awesome” relationship, Aniston claims that her widely chronicled romantic life is not particulaly dramatic. “There’s not nearly as much stealing and obsessing and middle-of-the-night secret calls to ex-boyfriends and scheming and cheating (as they lead you to believe). Most of it’s just bull***t, however entertaining.”

Aniston has teamed up with Demi Moore and Alicia Keys to direct short films for the Lifetime cable network entitled Five, a series about women and breast cancer.

“We were intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences’ expectation of the subject,” Aniston explains to Glamour. “We wanted to balance the drama with humor and irreverence because that’s what’s helped our friends who’ve faced this get through their treatment.”

Aniston realized that she had to be careful not to fall into the trap of directing, well, a weepy Lifetime movie.

“We wanted stories that were informative without being heavy-handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written,” Aniston says, laughing. “Other than that, our goals were small.”

Despite being a sucessful working actor for over twenty years, it didn’t quite sink in for Aniston that she was getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“It was a milestone in my career, which was surreal because I still think I’m at the beginning of it,” the 42-year-old tells Glamour. “I remember when they told me about the honor, I thought, ‘Really?’ I’ve never lost that feeling of ‘Oh God, I hope I get this job!’ I don’t want to get too used to any of this because then entitlement sets in, and that’s the kiss of death.”

Glamour’s October issue is available on newsstands nationwide September 6, 2011 and digitally (iPad and Barnes & Noble Nook Color) on August 30, 2011.
