  • Simon Cowell plans to put himself on ice in the afterlife

No matter what, former “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell is prepared for the future. After he dies, he plans on having his body cryogenically frozen.

“It’s an insurance policy,” Cowell tells the September issue of GQ magazine. “If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. If it does work, I’ll be happy. If it’s possible, and I think it will be, why not have a second crack? Does that sound crazy? I think it’s a good idea.”

The snarky 51-year-old adds, “I have a feeling if I don’t do it now, I could regret this in 300 years’ time.”

Freezing his remains is not Cowell’s only personal preservation plan. The “X Factor” producer gets a weekly intravenous drip of B-12, magnesium, vitamin C.

“Even when I’m having a viewing session with producers, (the practitioner) just sticks a needle in me and we carry on doing whatever we’re doing,” he explains. “You feel all the vitamins going through you. It’s indescribable but very calming, and then it gives you energy for a good few days afterwards.”

Cowell’s vitamin shot seems to have an extra added benefit. “Everyone I’ve recommended it to, they’ve absolutely loved it,” he tells GQ. “It sounds odd, but when you have it, it is fantastic. One girl came down and actually had two orgasms during the treatment.”

Despite chain-smoking menthol cigarettes, Cowell makes sure to make his most important meal of the day a healthy one–eating nothing buy papaya juice with lime, tea, oatmeal and three different smoothies for the past five years.

“It just puts me in a good mood,” Cowell explains of his morning ritual of health food and vintage cartoons. “It’s less depressing than watching the news, which is just relentless. You’ve got to try it one morning. You’ll be happy for the rest of the day.”
