  • Meet Congressman Anthony Weiner's alleged porn star Twitter pal, Ginger Lee

    (TMZ.com)

Before coming clean in a press conference Monday, Congressman Anthony Weiner was scrambling to cover his Twitter tracks by coaching porn star Ginger Lee on what to say when the press asked about their X-rated tweets.

The adult actress told TMZ.com that she and the congressman “exchanged scores of sexual emails over a long period of time,” including Lee being on the receiving end of Weiner’s infamous underwear photo.

    YOU DECIDE: Did Weiner Cheat?

Lee has never been shy about gushing her admiration for Congressman Wiener’s politics, and um, other things, on her website, missgingerlee.com.

FOX411: Trumps Calls Weiner  a ‘Psycho’

“I feel like starting the week with Weiner,” she writes in a May 16th post. “Does that sound dirty? It probably does, and I don’t even care. Y’all can deal with my love of Weiner or GTFO.”

On May 6th, she wrote a description for an animated photo of the congressman, “Oh my god. Yes. He can get buck wild anytime I’m around.”

HEALTH: Weiner, Virtual Sex and Reality.

Less than a week earlier, she agreed with another Tumblr post, “I want to have sexual relations with Anthony Weiner.” Lee added, “I can’t help it. Snark+sass+sense+saying how he feels about things=sex on legs.”

The porn star even admits to watching “The O’Reilly Factor” if the subject is Weiner.

POLITICS: Harry Reid Throws Weiner Under the Hot Dog Stand.

But who, exactly, is Ginger Lee?

Born in Tonya Short in Macon, Georgia, she declares her interests are “feminism, cool photos, advice, stripping, modeling, random rants, and anything else I find interesting.” The adult actress also suffers from lupus, which is “a bigger part of (her) life” than she’d like to admit.

    PHOTOS: Celebrity Sext Scandals.

But after the “Weinergate” scandal broke, the congressman emailed a prepared statement for Lee to give the press when they came calling.

“The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it,” Weiner wrote on June 1st, according to TMZ. “Have a couple of iterations of: ‘This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don’t know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow. That’s it.’”

Brooklyn-born and bred Weiner even suggested that Lee add some “Y’alls” to make the statement seem more homespun.

Perhaps taking some of Weiner’s advice, Lee tweeted later that day, “I should probably say, ‘y’all’ is one of my favorite words. I’m going to use it more often. #yallwillhavetodealwithit”
