  John Lennon a Reagan Republican?

  He loved Ron, yeah yeah yeah…

  That’s right – peace and love uber hippie John Lennon was a closeted Reagan Republican at the time of his death, according to the Beatle’s last personal assistant.

  Fred Seaman, who worked for Lennon from 1979 until he was gunned down in the street outside his apartment in 1980, said the singer admired Reagan, who was running for president against Jimmy Carter at the time.

  “John, basically, made it very clear that if he were an American he would vote for Reagan because he was really sour on Jimmy Carter,” Seaman says in a new Beatles documentary. “He’d met Reagan back, I think, in the 70s at some sporting event.”

  “I also saw John embark in some really brutal arguments with my uncle, who’s an old-time communist,” Seaman said. “It was pretty obvious to me he had moved away from his earlier radicalism.”

  “He was a very different person back in 1979 and 80 than he’d been when he wrote ‘Imagine,’ Seaman said. “By 1979 he looked back on that guy and was embarrassed by that guy’s naivete.”

  Newsweek's Doctored Princess Diana Cover: Creepy or Clever?

  Newsweek created a “what if” photo of an older Princess Diana walking with the new Princess Kate for its cover commemorating what would have been Diana’s 50th birthday.

  The magazine added wrinkles to her face and superimposed her onto a photo of the new Duchess of Cambridge, who seems to be looking straight at her deceased would-have-been mother-in-law.

  The article itself, written by the magazine’s editor, Tina Brown, is titled “Diana at 50: If She Were Here Now.” In it Brown posits that the Princess would be Facebook friends with Camilla Parker-Bowles and have 10 million Twitter followers.

  But back to that photo. What do you think of the decision to age and add Diana to a photo of her son William’s new wife?

  'Superbad' star Emma Stone on cutthroat Hollywood, wine, sugar, and heroin

  Gorgeous “Superbad” star Emma Stone may look perfect, but she admits to a few bad habits.

  “Heroin, the sugar, and the wine—nothing too crazy,” she jokes in the August issue of Vanity Fair.

  Stone says you need a few good crutches when you’re battling for roles in her cutthroat industry. Like after she lost the role of Claire Bennet on NBC’s “Heros” to Hayden Panettiere.

  “I could hear that, in the other room, a girl had just gone in and they were saying, ‘You are our pick. On a scale of 1 to 10 you’re an 11,’” she said. “I went home and just had this meltdown.”

  Even with that blow, Stone, who dropped out of high school to move to Hollywood, got her big break quicker than most. “I did ‘Superbad’ in what would’ve been my senior year,” she said. “I was playing a senior, and had I graduated, I would’ve missed that opportunity, and had I missed that opportunity, I wouldn’t be here right now.”

  Heidi Klum keeps things spicy with Seal, 'not one to play hard to get'

  “Project Runway” Heidi Klum has been with her husband, the musician Seal, since 2005, during which time they have welcomed four children.

  So obviously, things have not gotten boring in their bedroom.

  “There’s nothing wrong with a nice garter belt,” Klum declares in the August issue of Glamour. “I’m not saying you have to put up a pole in your bedroom and start swinging off the rafters. But I love that sometimes!”

  The supermodel, who has legally taken Seal’s surname of Samuel, can’t get enough of her hubby. “He’s even hot when he’s sleeping,” Klum declares. “He’s a beautiful man. He’s kind, he’s a gentleman, and I watched him last night onstage, and he still rocks it. I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s my man!’”

  Shia LaBeouf: Yup, I hooked up with Megan Fox

  Shia LaBeouf spills on his relationship with several Hollywood hotties, including former “Transformers” co-star Megan Fox, in the August issue of DETAILS magazine.

  Asked if he hooked up with Megan Fox while on the set of the blockbuster franchise, LaBeouf nodded in the affirmative.

  HOT SHOTS: Megan Fox.

  “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” he said. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”

  But wait. Was she with current husband Brian Austin Green at the time, or were the two on a”break”?

  Charlie Sheen following Conan O'Brien to TBS?

  Look out CBS, Charlie Sheen is coming back to TV with a new show. And from the looks of his new character, it looks like he’s gunning straight for “Two and a Half Men.”

  RadarOnline.com reports that Sheen has signed a deal with Lionsgate Television, and that networks are currently in a bidding war to distribute the new comedy.

  FOX411: Sheen Puts Sober Valley Ranch Up for Sale.

  “Charlie has inked a deal with Lionsgate Television to create and star in a new sitcom,” an insider tells the entertainment site. “Charlie’s character will be very similar to the one he played on ‘Two And a Half Men,’ however the show will be a lot racier. Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front runner.”

  Kenny Rogers' former estate on sale for $20 million

  What was once country singer Kenny Rogers‘ palatial country estate in Athens, GA was sold in 2003 to Wes Adams, a wealthy rancher and real estate investor. Adams passed away in February and the over-the-top 973-acre estate, titled Beaver Dam Farms,  is on the market again for a hefty $20 million — a price that’s over 100 times more than current median Athens home prices.

  

  Situated in the heart of Georgia, Rogers designed and built the estate to host his family and entertain celebrity friends, sparing absolutely nothing in constructing the mammoth property.

  Pippa Middleton getting offer from Usher to model lingerie line

  Usher has an offer he hopes Pippa Middleton can’t refuse.

  The R&B star wants the world’s most talked about woman to be the face (and presumably the body) of his new lingerie line.

  “I don’t think there’s a more beautiful, more stunning, more talked-about woman in the world at the moment,” Usher told Look magazine.

  Usher may be right about the former, and is definitely right about the latter.

  Usher hasn’t approached P. Middy yet, but it sounds like he’s getting close.

  "Glee" star Cory Monteith was a high school drug fiend before

  Cory Monteith may play a sweet high school student on FOX’s musical hit “Glee,” but the young actor has a dark past.

  “I’m not Finn Hudson,” declares Monteith in an interview with Parade Magazine. “I’m lucky on so many counts—I’m lucky to be alive.”

  By the age of 13, the once-promising student was ditching school to get drunk and high.

  Monteith was bounced from twelve different schools by the time he turned sixteen, including ones troubled teens. “I burned a lot of bridges,” he says. “I was out of control.”
