Say what you will about Corey Feldman—one thing the former child star has going for him is his impeccable timing.

The actor’s new film, “Operation Belvis Bash,” is about a “rag-tag team of entertainers” who set out to assassinate Usama bin Laden.

The film, set for a limited summer release, screened in Houston on Sunday night—just as President Obama told the world that kill the notorious mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attacks had been killed.

“It’s absolutely unbelievable,” Feldman said of the film’s timing. “I was in New York on September 11, 2001, with Michael Jackson, and then, nearly 10 years later, I walk out of the premiere of my latest film … to learn that Osama Bin Laden (sic) had been killed by a special operation, just like in the film we’d just screened. The timing is simply unbelievable, and whether life imitates art, or art imitates life, now is a time for all Americans to express their gratitude to the brave men and women who serve our country and helped make this happen.”

In a press release sent to, the former star of the “Surreal Life” portrays an “outrageous ‘Jewtastic’ comedian who joins “struggling rock and roll musician (Alexander Loy) who is recruited to go to Afghanistan to win the hearts and minds of the Afghani people.”

Frank Stallone also stars in the film as a “musical theater heavyweight,” along with Daniel Baldwin, a former WWE wrestler and the guy who played the “Soup Nazi” on “Seinfeld.”
