  • Katy Perry's and Tori Spelling's moms will spill on daughters in new tell-alls

Katy Perry’s and Tori Spelling’s estranged moms are both trying to cash in with tell-all biographies on their famous daughters.

Perry’s deeply religious mother writes that she was horrified to see Katy displaying what God had blessed her with.

“Katy stepped out from behind the changing doors in a tiny risqué costume. No mother wants to see the top of her daughter’s boobs,” writes Mary Perry Hudson in a pitch for her book obtained by “My first instinct was to order her back behind those doors and demand she put something else on… However, I had no problem letting my eyebrows say what I wouldn’t allow my mouth to utter.”

In the book proposal that’s currently making the rounds at publishers, Katy’s mom describes the challenge having a famous daughter who lives her life “contrary to (her) parents’ beliefs” and hopes that her daughter will become a faith healer like born-again Kathryn Kuhlman.

“I recognized the psalmist gift in her performance. Yet she sang out, ‘I kissed a girl, and I liked it,’ while thousands joined her. One part of my heart soared… the other part broke for the thousands of hungry souls being fed something that didn’t nourish their spirit, but fed their flesh.”

Hudson also has issues with Perry’s husband, British comedian Russell Brand, calling him “foul-mouthed,” and worries about saving her soul.

“Oh, dear God, how can I save her from all this? The money, the fame, the network, the people surrounding her, how can I compete?”

Candy Spelling, who already published “Stories from Candy-land,” in which she wrote, “It’s fine if Tori wants her own reality show or wants to write books about her childhood. I just wish she’d leave me out of it,” is shopping a second book with more details about her relationship with her daughter.

The reports that Spelling has a chapter devoted to how her relationship with the “Beverly Hills, 90210” crumbled after her husband, prolific Hollywood television producer Aaron Spelling, died in 2006. After Tori allegedly received a mere $800,000 from her father’s $500 million estate, she and her mother battled each other in the press.

“This public fight with my daughter came at a time when I needed her the most. So, yeah, I was mad,” writes Spelling.

Spelling’s literary agents, Steve Troha and Celeste Fine of Folio Literary Management, defended the mad mom’s book: “Of course she’s candid about Tori and Hollywood gossip over the last five years, but this next book is really about coming into her own.”

    Mm hm.
