The formerly fit Verizon Guy has gone from a hunk to a chunk!

Twitter pundits have sounded off on the Verizon Guy’s increased heft.

“is it just me or has the verizon guy gotten a little chubs?” says one Tweet.

“That guy from the Verizon commercials kinda let himself go,” says another.

An entertainment reporter at the local CBS station in Los Angeles alarmed viewers when she flubbed her words and started speaking gibberish during a live broadcast from the Staples Center after the Grammy awards Sunday night.

KCBS-TV’s Serene Branson was reporting on “highlights and backstage coverage” from the award ceremony when her delivery devolved into a series of nonsensical words.

Many viewers were concerned that she had possibly suffered a stroke during the live broadcast.

  • He lost the Grammy, and the box office. Is Justin Bieber fever breaking?

Justin Bieber’s amazing trajectory from YouTube phenomenon to music industry darling and international tween heartbreaker may have reached its apex this weekend.

The Biebs’ suffered two body blows: the shocking loss of Best New Artist to relative unknown Espranza Spalding at the Grammys Sunday night, and the news that his much-hyped movie, “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,” placed second at the box office behind Jennifer Aniston’s latest universally despised romcom, “Just Go With It.”

“Boy, rough morning for him,” music industry expert Tom Osborn told FOX411. “I do think there is a backlash on Justin Bieber. There was too much marketing put into him around this, and it backfired. Now, he looks like he was snubbed. The Grammy voters clearly went in a more independent direction last night. There clearly has to be a worry in his camp that he might be teetering on the brink of overexposure here and it feels like the Grammy voters are making that statement as a first salvo.”

  • Poll: Did Christina Aguilera redeem herself with Grammys performance?

    FOX 411 | Editor

From left, Yolanda Adams, Martina McBride, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, and Florence Welch perform at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 (AP)

All eyes were on Christina Aguilera as she opened the Grammys in a group tribute to Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, who is recovering from surgery.

Aguilera led the tribute, with Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Florence and the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch and gospel singer Yolanda Adams.

Aguilera sang a powerful rendition of “Ain’t No Way” that is being deemed her official comeback after her flop at the Super Bowl, where she messed up the words to the National Anthem.

But it wasn’t all a seamless performance, as some viewers took to Twitter and social networks after spotting the songstress fall after the performance.

The fall was during the group bow, when she appeared to nearly slip off the stage.

Aguilera joked about the ending later when presenting.

What do you think? Did she redeem herself?

  • Lady Gaga carried across red carpet in bizarre giant egg

    FOX 411 | Editor

Feb. 13: Lady Gaga on the red carpet at the Grammys (AP)

Lady Gaga left viewers shell-shocked Sunday when she showed up at the Grammy Awards encased in something that resembled a large oval egg carried on an open wooden platform by a selection of half-naked men.

Famous for her outrageous costumes – this is, after all, the woman who wore a meat dress to the MTV Video Awards – Lady Gaga may have topped herself with the Grammys getup, which was described as looking variously like an egg, a pod and a large pumice stone.

  • 'Oopsies!': Us Weekly apologizes to Sarah Palin over using fake quotes

    FOX 411 | Editor

    Sarah Palin. (Reuters)

    Whoops!

Us Weekly ran a story quoting Sarah Palin demanding that Christina Aguilera be “deported” over her botched performance of the national anthem at Super Bowl XLV.

The only problem: It never happened.

The item “quoted” Palin trashing Aguilera as “a demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head” and adding for good measure, “If I were president, I’d deport Ms. Augilera back to wherever it is she’s from and give Amy Smart a call.”

The fake quotes originated from an Onion-like satirical web site, relaying a fictional radio interview between the former Governor of Alaska and Fox News host Sean Hannity.

  • Makeover-O-Matic: How Charlie Sheen can go from really gritty, back to kinda pretty

    Meaghan Murphy |

    FOX411's Charlie Sheen Makeover. (X17/TMZ)

It seems that Charlie Sheen’s wild lifestyle has finally caught up with him—decades of partying are evident on his face, body and teeth.

The shocking video and photos that hit TMZ last week shows the “Two and a Half Men” star appearing haggard and tooth-challenged as he danced with a bevy of lovely, much younger ladies.

Fortunately for Sheen, 45, FOX411 has amassed an army of experts to whip the hard-partying star back to his former fabulous self in twelve easy steps.

    1. TEETH

“It doesn’t look good—it looks like he has missing teeth,” celebrity cosmetic dentist Dr. Eric Fugier tells FOX411 after looking at the TMZ photos. “It looks like he has gold teeth in the back, two of the front teeth are broken, short and discolored. It looks like he has missing teeth. He definitely needs a makeover. He needs veneers and if he’s missing teeth, maybe implants. For veneers on twelve of his upper teeth, it would cost from $25-30,000. If he needs implants, it should be done by an experienced surgeon. He would also need a crown on top of it. The procedure would cost a few thousand dollars per tooth—and it looks like Charlie would need about at least two implants.”

    2. FAT INJECTIONS

“Charlie has lost a lot of weight in his face,” Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Marc Mani tells FOX411. “The first thing I would tell him to do is to gain weight. But if he couldn’t gain weight and assuming he wasn’t on drugs, I would recommend facial fat injections. That’s really one of the most effective ways of rejuvenating a face. The best fat comes from the posterior area of the torso, just above the hips. That tends to be the fat that last the longest, it’s just more genetically resistant to being reabsorbed. Fat injections runs in the $3000-7000 range.”

  • Valerie Bertinelli gets naked and likes it!

    FOX 411 | Editor

“Hot in Cleveland” star Valerie Bertinelli likes to cool down with her new husband, financial planner Tom Vitale, the old fashioned way.

“I like it when they’re here,” Bertinelli says of her children in the March issue of Good Housekeeping, “But Tom and I also like being able to walk around naked, and you can’t do that when the kids are in the house.”

Well you could, it would just be bad.

The ex-wife of rocker Eddie Van Halen, who lost loads of weight when she became the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig, confesses that she and Vitale learned hard lessons from their first marriages.

A nude pictorial in Playboy ended the cheerleading career for a Mississippi State freshman.

“I am no longer cheering for (Mississippi) State,” Taylor Corley announced on a Memphis radio show. “Me and my coaches decided that it was either Mississippi State cheerleading or my Playboy career. Pretty much the decision was made for me that I was no longer going to be cheering for them.”

The blonde beauty posed under the alias Taylor Stone in the November 2010 issue Playboy, but classmates—and her cheerleading coaches—recognized her.

“It was definitely a shock to everyone,” Corley explained. “I don’t think they were expecting something like that to come from a cheerleader, especially in such a conservative state.”

  • Vanessa Hudgens All Grown Up: I'll dance on a table sober

    FOX 411 | Editor

She may have made her career dancing in Disney’s “High School Musical,” but actress Vanessa Hudgens tells Details magazine that these days, she’s up for a different kind of dancing.

“I’m , like, a very hyper energetic, crazy type of crazy,” she said at the start of the interview. “I have a lot going on. Always. I’ll dance on a table sober.”

The interview and sexy photo spread to accompany it are decidedly a departure from her squeaky-clean image. After a nude photo scandal and her new role in Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch” (where she plays a gun-toting asylum inmate), Hudgens, 22, appears ready to cross over into sex symbol status.
