It was a weekend filled with bundles of joy as actor Matt Damon and his wife and singer Celine Dion and her husband both announced the birth of their babies.

Dion gave birth to fraternal twin boys on Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla. Dion and her husband Rene Angelil have a nine-year-old son named Rene-Charles and have reportedly been trying for years to conceive through in vitro, the Washington Post reports. The two babies, whose names have not been announced, were born via cesarean section and came in at 5 lbs 10 ounces and 5 pounds 4 ounces.

Last year, Dion told Oprah Winfrey that her attempts to get pregnant left her “physically and mentally” exhausted. After five failed in-vitro attempts, one of which ended in a miscarriage.

“I never gave up,” she said.

Meanwhile, Damon’s wife Luciana gave birth to her fourth daughter Wednesday, named Stella Zavala Damon. The couple is parents to Isabella, 4, Gia, 2, and Luciana’s daughter Alexia, 11, from a previous relationship.

Damon recently said this would be their last child in an interview with Parade magazine.

“Lucy is in her third trimester for the fourth time and I think that’s about enough to ask of any woman,” he told Parade. “I don’t want to turn her into Ethel Kennedy.”

Damon’s film “Hereafter” with director Clint Eastwood came in fourth place at the box office this weekend, taking in $12 million nationwide.
