Ali Larter arrives at a news conference to promote her movie

Not that it matters, but we’re just sayin’ –  Jimmy Fallon didn’t get the “It’s a boy” exclusive last night from Ali Larter.

Because she told us last week!

Larter was talking to FOX411.com’s Pop Tarts column when she let slip the sex of her baby-to-be.

We asked her at the “Resident Evil” press junket if her unborn might grow up to be a video game junkie, to which she replied:

“Possible gamer? Well, after watching these movies and hearing all the gunfire I don’t know what he’s — it’s — going to turn out like.”

    Take that, Fallon!

    Anyway, more importantly, congratulations Ali.

  • Justin Bieber hits state trooper with water balloon, report says

    FOX 411 | Editor

Squeaky clean teen singer Justin Bieber almost landed in some serious trouble Sunday after pelting a state trooper with a water balloon.

According to a report from PopEater, the officer, who was soaked from the waist down, was planning to take the 16-year-old singer away in cuffs. But lucky for Biebs, his bodyguard managed to talk the trooper out of it.

The officer was working at Bieber’s sold-out performance at the Maryland State Fair at the time of the incident.

A spokesman for the Maryland state police described Bieber’s behavior as “inappropriate” but said no action will be taken against the pop star.

Lou Reed prevented Susan Boyle from taking a walk on his wild side.

According to multiple reports, the “Britain’s Got Talent” sensation was all set to sing the former Velvet Underground singer’s classic, “Perfect Day,” on “America’s Got Talent.”

That is, until Reed got wind of her plans, and pulled the plug on the performance.

Sources told TMZ that producers needed permission from Reed, but couldn’t get it because he’s not a big Boyle fan.

    Big surprise.

  • Tim Gunn: Diva Anna Wintour went 'ballistic' when I revealed she is carried around by bodyguards

    FOX 411 | Editor

As if rumors of her providing the inspiration for the nightmare boss in “The Devils Wear Prada” weren’t enough, tales of Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s diva antics have been taken to a new level with reports of her demanding an apology from Tim Gunn after he made negative comments about her.

Earlier this summer, “Project Runway” personality and fashion expert Gunn said he witnessed Wintour being carried by bodyguards following a Peter Som fashion show in 2006.

“I was with a colleague from Parsons, and we had been discussing the will-she-or-won’t-she-take-the-elevator question, so we ran over to the elevator bay to see if Anna would deign to get on,” he said back in June.  “She wasn’t there. Then we looked over the stairway railing. And what did we see but Anna being carried down the stairs. The bodyguards had made a fireman’s lock and were racing her from landing to landing. She was sitting on their crossed arms.”

  • Meet the new Wonder Woman! Betty White hero of her own comic book

    FOX 411 | Editor

Forget the Snickers Super Bowl commercial.

    Forget hosting “Saturday Night Live.”

Forget her new sitcom with those other actresses on whatever cable channel its on.

At age 88, Betty White has hit the comeback mother lode with her own comic book.

“Female Force: Betty White” (Bluewater Productions) hits comic book stores in November, and writer Patrick McCray says its like nothing he’s ever done before.

“Working on the Betty book was an honor and a blast,” McCray said. “While covering a new entertainer is always fun, there is something special about profiling an icon. Not only did it allow me to savor nostalgia, it also let me catch up on areas of pop culture that had passed me by.”

At 32 pages long, fitting the entirety of White’s career — from “Mary Tyler Moore” to “Match Game” to now — was tough, said Bluewater president Darren Davis.

“Betty White has had such an amazing entertainment career,” Davis said. “It’s one that has now spanned more than 70 years. The biggest challenge that the creative team behind this book faced was figuring out how to include as much of this career as possible in one comic.”
