  • Teen pop singer Justin Bieber to pen memoir, star in 3-D biopic

    When most of us were 16, we were learning to write term papers. But teen pop idol Justin Bieber is gearing up to write his memoir and star in his own 3-D biopic.

    After 16 eventful years of life, the YouTube sensation-turned-pop-singer is compiling materials for a “photographic memoir,” which will be released in October. According to a report from, “Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story,” will include rare and never-before-seen photos of the pop idol.

    “Every day I wake up and count my blessings,” Bieber said in a statement Monday. “My fans have played such a large part in all of this and they help me live my dreams every day. I’m excited to share just a little bit more of my world with them through this book.”

    But Bieber mania goes beyond just his memoir. The young star will also appear in his own biopic about his life. According to the U.K Guardian, the 3-D adventure will be directed by “An Inconvenient Truth” director David Guggenheim and is slated for release on Valentine’s Day 2011.

    Bieber signed a record deal three years ago and has since sold more than 5 million records worldwide. According to a report from Reuters, his “Baby” music video is the most-watched in YouTube history.

    “I think this is going to be something they can all enjoy,” Bieber said of his enthusiastic young fans. “This is just another way for me to say thank you to my fans.”
