    Never shy about showing off her body, newly-single “Bachelor” winner Vienna Girardi is going to bare it all for Playboy, Star magazine reports.

    The 24-year-old former Hooters waitress tells the magazine that she will grace the cover later this year. The news comes in the height of drama between her and her ex-fiance, “Bachelor” Jake Pavelka, including claims of abuse, affairs and homosexuality.

    Girardi says her decision to pose for the magazine was a financial one.

    Prejean, 23, has been linked to Kyle Boller, a 29-year-old quarterback for the Oakland Raiders, since last summer. According to TMZ, the wedding will take place Friday.

    The singer and new mom tells Vh1’s “Behind the Music” that the death of her mother Darnell, brother Jason and nephew Julian was “all a blur.”

  • Bald beauty queen seeks to raise awareness for disease at Miss America pageant

    A Miss America contestant who suffers from a disease that led to complete baldness is out to prove that beauty comes in many packages.

    Kayla Martell, who recently won the title of Miss Delaware 2010, suffers from Alopecia Areata, an autoimmune disease that led to complete hair loss when she was a child. Martell, now 21, was diagnosed with the disease in the fifth grade.

    But in spite of her disease, Martell went on to compete in the Miss Delaware pageant four times before taking the title home in 2010. While she has previously competed both with a wig and without, this year she decided to wear a blond wig.

  • Lauryn Hill explains her 11-year absence from music

    Grammy-award winning R&B artist Lauryn Hill broke her silence Monday explaining her nearly 11 year absence from the music scene after the success of her “Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” album in 1998.

    “The support system that I needed was not necessarily in place,” Hill told NPR. “The machine can overlook the need to take care of the people who produce the sounds.”

    Rumors swirled that Hill, now 35, had a nervous breakdown after her 1998 album success when she all but disappeared from public life. She has performed but rarely in the past 11 years and seldom grants interviews with the press.

  • Sandra Bullock, Jesse James divorce finalized: report

    The divorce between Sandra Bullock and Jesse James is final, TMZ reported Monday, just two months after the Oscar-winning actress announced she was splitting from her motorcycle mogul husband in the wake of a string of lurid revelations linking James to a stripper and other women.

    Both parties have signed the final divorce documents and they have been filed with the clerk’s office in Travis County, Texas, according to TMZ.

    Bullock, 45, told People Magazine in April that she was “sad and scared” about the end of her five-year marriage.

    2007: A model wears a piece from Australian designer 'FashionAssassin.' The fashion industry will now ban the use of dangerously thin models on the runway.

    The Australian fashion industry is preparing to ban skinny models from catwalks and magazines, according to the Daily Telegraph.

    Designers will no longer be able to hire models with a body mass index that is deemed dangerously low or use male models who are too muscular, the Telegraph reported.

    Australia’s Youth Minister Kate Ellis said magazines, agencies and fashion labels that met a number of criteria would be awarded a new body-image tick of approval. The campaign is part of a massive overhaul to tackle body image issues among Aussies.

  • Size 4 model's waist altered for department store?

    In yet another case of aggressive photo retouching, Nordstrom has drastically nipped the waist of Ralph Lauren model Tao Okamoto.

    The Japanese model’s obviously thinned waist is featured on the site in a Lauren design, just months after the fashion house came under fire for digitally altering the body of size-4 model Filippa Hamilton. The photo was first reported on by gossip site Jezebel.com.

    Okamoto’s waist size is listed as 23.5, and her clothing size is a 4. And yet, it appears that wasn’t small enough for Nordstrom.
