Everyone’s role model of a couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt reportedly split on Monday, according to OK! magazine. A source close to the couple told the tabloid that the plastic surgery queen was “moving out of her house and away from Spencer.”

This came on the heels of Heidi firing Spencer as her manager and replacing him with her psychic, and Spencer going on about helping defend the country against cyberterrorists.

So, the news of their split kind of made sense, in a Speidi kind of way.

But on Tuesday, fans were allowed to breathe a sigh of relief when the couple came out to say that the report is completely false.

“I’m not moving out,” Montag, 23, told People magazine. “I love Spencer with all my heart.”

Her ex-manager and hubby of 18 months added, “I love my wife more now than I ever thought I could.”

We take that to be a compliment.

Could all of this back and forth just be good publicity for the final season of “The Hills,” which premieres on April 27th?

Heidi insists that is not the case, and can’t wait for the show to go bye-bye.

“I’m so excited ‘The Hills’ are finally over so I won’t be edited by anyone,” says Heidi. “This will be the first time people can truly see us for who we are.”

“The Hills has told the story of struggle and of finding myself in L.A., so it’s time for me to hang up all the drama like fighting and divorce talk with Spencer and become the mogul I am,” she explained.

The aspiring actress (someone might want to tell her actresses get edited, too, bye people called editors and directors) and singer is confident that she and Spencer are the real deal.

“All that we’ve been through has only made us work harder at our relationship and making it better,” said Heidi. “We’ve worked through things and will continue to work on our relationship so we’re the best couple we can be. We want to fall more in love with each other every day.”
