Kate Gosselin isn’t making any friends on the “Dancing With the Stars” set, the New York Post is reporting.

Sources tell the paper that Gosselin is being a “total diva,” ignoring other cast members, and being mean to the show’s crew.

“Kate doesn’t want to do anything” with the other celebrity dancers, the source says.

“DWTS” premieres next week with a strong cast of stars including “Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson, Olympic Gold medal winner Evan Lysacek, and ESPN reporter Erin Andrews. But while a source tells the Post there is “a lot of camaraderie among the crew and other stars,” Gosselin insists on being the show’s “queen bee.”

However, there may be a good reason Gosselin hasn’t been hanging out with the other dancers. She has been back in Pennsylvania rehearsing and has only been in L.A. briefly, according to a show rep.

“She’s been rehearsing in Pennsylvania to be near her kids,” the rep said. “For the short time she was in LA, she and the cast got along great.”

Fox411 talked to Gosselin last week when she was in New York with her dance partner Tony Dovoloni for the premiere of Discovery Channel’s show “Life,” and it sounded like being with her kids would indeed keep her from being “one of the gang” on “DWTS.”

“I will be trying to squeeze ['DWTS'] in everywhere and we will be adjusting to the children’s schedule,” she told FOX411. “Every moment that we can practice I will make it count. Tony and I don’t have a set schedule because I can’t drop everything and dance for six hours straight per day.”
