I think he'll do fine... good for him

Great pic. All of you "men" saying he does not have the right "build". You obviously are day dreaming about Hugh Jackman a bit too much, and you do not know the story line. He is a great pic, I am sure Disney is putting there 2 cents in, but I believe he will be awesome.

Yeah... Umm... This does not bode well IMO. First, Cap singing and dancing?! This man is supposed to be a great American icon, and the leader of one of the greatest teams ever created! And now casting an actor that doesn't fill the type? He might be a great actor, with great ability, but that doesn't mean he's good for the roll. Will Smith is a great actor, but he'd make a lousy Nick Fury. Makes me wonder how much Disney has a say in all of this...

Great choice. Tons of intensity. As for build? Who would have thought of Downey for Iron man, or Bale (the machinist) for Batman? Think big, people. Sure, he'll need to eat 5000 calories per day, and have a personal trainer...but he's a GREAT actor.
Nick
Good. Lord. What a bunch of whiny babies. You people have no idea if he's capable of this role. All you've ever seen him in is comedies. Some actors are actually capable of range, you know.

I'm sorry I'm a fan of the Office, but Krasinski would be my last pick for Captain America. He doesn't have the build or the intensity I believe the actor who plays Captain America needs to have. My vote is For Sam Worthington. Marvel is gonna lose a lot of fans by casting Krasinski as Captain America.
Hannibal King
So much for that source.

LOL maybe as a "Before super-solider serum" Capt. America LOL
HM
Wow, this one is interesting, but not Earth-shattering. I could almost see him playing Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four reboot. I don't watch the office (sorry, everyone!), but I'm a huge Iron Man and Captain America fan, and I can't see him playing Cap, or being the leader of Iron Man, Thor, etc., in the Avengers. But it's better than the "models" Marvel was looking at. I prefer Colin Ferguson from TV's Eureka, myself. A little make-up and CGI to make him younger and we're good-to-go.

Horrible, horrible choice, this film seems like is on it's way to fail misserably, bad director, worst casting in a comic book film ever, and the script? Cap singing and dancing? What are you doing Marvel? Save Cap. PLEASE!
