  • Country singer Sara Evans files restraining order against ex-husband

Country music singer Sara Evans has filed a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband, Craig Schelske.

She obtained the restraining order Wednesday in Williamson County, Tenn.

Documents say Schelske is not allowed to make any derogatory statements about Evans to the media or make allegations about what led to their divorce in the fall of 2007.

A court hearing has been set for March 15.

The 39-year-old Evans had been competing on “Dancing With The Stars” in October 2006 when she suddenly quit the show and filed for divorce. The divorce proceedings played out publicly, with both Evans and Schelske accusing each other of having affairs. Both denied the accusations. They have three children together.

Evans won top female vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2006.

  • Exclusive Preview: 'Project Runway' Wii game brings runway (and Heidi Klum) to your living room

    FOX 411 | Editor

    klum_heidi_102408

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn make it work in the new “Project Runway” game for Nintendo Wii, which should attract fans of the hit reality show and young girls itching to become the next Christian Siriano from the comfort of their couches.

Klum, Gunn and designer turned reality competition judge Michael Kors have all lent their voices to the hit fashion show’s video game, which is aiming to immerse the teen girl set into the gaming market.

“We really believe the core target audience is girls 6-12. Girls are starting to buy their own clothes around 13 and 14 and as they are learning to make their own fashion choices this is a way for them to interact and participate with style,” explains Jonathan Anastas, Vice President of marketing for Atari Inc., the publisher of the “Runway” game.

Fox 411 was given an early preview of the game on Thursday. Challenges are ripped straight from the show’s sixth season including the “Tokyo West” challenge to create a new Harajuku outfit for the lead singer of a famous Japanese pop band and the “The New Year” challenge which required designers to expand the fashion palettes of school administrators by creating innovative school uniforms.

  • IDOL 411: Top 20 revealed as the dreams of four more young people are dashed

    IDOL 411 |

    idol_ellen500

The first week of “American Idol” live shows tore through prime time like a twister in a trailer park. And now we’re left with broken bits of a plastic kiddie slide and grill tongs.

But at least Tim Urban is gone.

Wait, no he’s not. What the…?

Did voters send the right contestants home? [Poll]

This week we learned two things. First, “Idol” doesn’t need four judges. Simon, as usual, is 100 percent correct with his assessments, and Randy has been surprisingly coherent, but Ellen and That Other Lady contribute as much to the critique of performances as they would to the health care debate:

Ellen: I’m just not sure the public option is right, but I liked it. I liked it. And I like you, Mr. President. I really do. I want to see a little more on insurance reform, but you’re great! I like bananas.

Kara: TAKE OFF YOUR SHIRT, MR. BIDEN!

  • Twitter is so 2009. Celebs discover scary new online social site, Chat Roulette

    FOX 411 | Editor

    (FOX)

Move over Twitter, there’s a new social media craze hitting Hollywood.

    It’s called Chat Roulette.

Chatroulette.com is a new webcam chatting game that allows you to webchat with completely randomly chosen people who are also logged in.

Celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Alba and Chris Brown have taken to the brand new website to talk to strangers about whatever strikes their fancy, and Fox411 has the scoop on some of their online conversations.

RELATED: Chat Roulette a ‘Predator’s Paradise,’ Experts Say

For example, a Fox411 pal logged on to the new service and found himself suddenly chatting with disgraced singer Chris Brown.

How does our pal know it was Brown? Because the chat is hooked the to the users’ webcams, so you see who you are talking to, and they see you.

“We discussed his problems and all the media coverage over Rihanna,” said our chatter. “Chris apologized and kept repeating that he understood how hurtful it and upsetting it was. He said he was sorry for everyone involved including Rihanna and his/her fans. He was a good listener and after a few minutes he brought up his new album and even managed to plug it a little. It was random but he wasn’t a bad guy and didn’t rush to get off the chat.”

Another user told us he happened upon a pretty and make-up free Jessica Alba online last week.

“Jessica started off being a little cold and unfriendly, but eventually she seemed interested in our conversation and she opened up and explained what she was doing online,” said the chatter. “She was hanging out at home, surfing the net and told me that Ashton Kutcher told her all about the site and insisted she had to give it a try. Jessica explained that she was doing research for her husband, Cash Warren’s work. She wanted to see if CR would be a fun new marketing tool for Cash. We chatted for about 10 minutes.”

Chat Roulette may be stars’ latest online fix, but it may not last for long. The welcome screen says you must be 16 to enter, but there  seems to be no real age monitor or limit on what you can discuss or show.

  • IDOL 411: Joe Munoz shines as 'Idol' turns into 'Revenge of the Nerds'

    IDOL 411 |

    idol24

We’re just going to come right out and admit it — of all of the guys in the Top 12, we voted for “American Idol” contestant Joe Munoz on Wednesday night.

Sure, he’s not much in the looks department, and nothing about him screams superstar. But we thoroughly enjoyed his soulful performance of Jason Mraz’s “You and I Both,” and, frankly, we were afraid no one else would vote for him.

FOX411 Poll: Vote for Your Top 24

Speaking of little guys who gave big performances, 16-year-old Aaron Kelly more than delivered with Rascall Flatts’ “Here Comes Goodbye” on Wednesday night. We’ve been predicting Aaron would go far ever since we heard him sing Miley Cyrus at his first audition, but we also wondered if he was just a little too dorky for the big leagues. Between Aaron Kelly and Joe Munoz, it looks like the nerds got their revenge on Wednesday night.

  • IDOL 411: Katie Stevens has a fashion emergency on ‘American Idol’

    IDOL 411 |

    KatieStevens1

Everyone is saying a girl’s going to win “American Idol” this year, but after Tuesday night’s catastrophe, we’re not so sure.

Let’s start with our early favorite, Katie Stevens. Katie has a powerhouse voice and a wholesome, clean-cut appeal shared by so many “Idol” winners. So what went wrong on Tuesday night? Um, that outfit!

Who convinced Katie to wear a black dress with a big, red beauty-queen sash and a matching headband? That person, if employed by “American Idol,” should be fired immediately. Katie, you looked good in those black cigarette pants – try those again next week! And Michael Buble’s “Feeling Good” was just a little too sexy for you.

  • IDOL 411: Top 12 girls in the spotlight

    IDOL 411 |

    IdolTopGals

The caliber of talent this year on “American Idol” makes this season one of the toughest ever for contestants. With the live shows beginning this week, our top 12 ladies must take this opportunity to not only prove themselves worthy of the crown but also to create a memorable imprint of their own personalities on the audiences at home and in the auditorium.

Top 12 girls: Who gets your vote?

It’s part of why these first few live rounds are so difficult to maneuver for contestants — if we don’t remember you, we won’t vote for you. If we remember you too much in a less-than-awesome way, we won’t vote for you. And the trickiest bit: if your performance is great but resonates with a narrower segment of viewers, then not enough of us will vote for you. Here’s what to watch out for with some of our early favorites:
