  • 'Real Housewives' star Tamra Barney's husband files for divorce

    FOX 411 | Editor

    Tamra

There is a chance “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Tamra Barney won’t be a housewife for much longer, as her husband filed for divorce Wednesday.

According to a report from RadarOnline.com, Simon Barney contends that his wife of 11 years “has been verbally abusive and has committed acts of disloyalty and infidelity.”

Radar reports that Tamra moved out of the couple’s million dollar home this week and into a two bedroom apartment.

A source tells Radar that Tamra and Simon have been having severe problems for years, but that Tamra was unaware that her husband would be filing divorce papers.

“Simon has simply had enough,” the source says. “The show changed her.”

Barney has been especially critical of fellow castmate Gretchen Rossi, who she claimed had an affair while engaged to her late fiancé Jeff Beitzel.

  • Rumors swirl that Jay Leno will reclaim his 'Tonight Show' host title

    FOX 411 | Editor

    leno

Just hours after NBC denied reports that Jay Leno’s show was getting canceled, TMZ  and the New York Times reported that, no, Jay isn’t exactly getting canceled, he’s just retaking his old 11:30 time slot.

    There’s just one little problem.

Conan O’Brien hosts a little show called “The Tonight Show” on the network right about that same time.

Citing unnamed NBC executives, The New York Times reported that the network is considering reinstating Leno as host of “The Tonight Show,” a job he turned over to Conan O’Brien last spring.

TMZ said the move would happen as soon as next month, following NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics.

NBC, however, is denying any plans to cancel “The Jay Leno Show” or get rid of O’Brien from the late-night line-up.

In a statement released to FoxNews.com, NBC said Conan will remain a part of their late-night shows, although they made no mention of his intended time slot.

“We have the best comedy team in the business,” the statement says.  “We remain committed to keeping Conan O’Brien on NBC. He is a valued part of our late-night line-up, as he has been for more than 16 years and is one of the most respected entertainers on television.”

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

  • Singers Vince Gill, Amy Grant open up about controversial relationship

    FOX 411 | Editor

    GH-Feb-10-Cover

After ten years together, singer-songwriter couple Vince Gill and Amy Grant are opening up about the scandal of their decision to begin seeing one another.

When Gill and Grant began dating ten years ago, their relationship was clouded in bad publicity and alleged improprieties. But to celebrate their anniversary, the duo is posing on the February cover of Good Housekeeping magazine, which hits newsstands Jan. 12.

“When I went through my divorce , there were some things in certain magazines, and I despised the way it made my kids look,” Gill said. “So as a parent, there’s a side of you that just builds a wall and says, ‘You can ask all you want, but you’re not gonna get any of that stuff’”

Still, Grant says she did not let any of the negative publicity get to them when it came to the decision to leave their prior marriages and begin a life together.

“I don’t mean this in a flippant way, but I was so unconcerned by what somebody who I would never meet wrote in a rag. I felt like I had flipped a car over three medians and I was trying to figure out if my children – if we all – still had a pulse.”

NBC has repsonded to a report on the entertainment website FTVLive.com that said Jay Leno’s prime-time show on NBC was on the verge of cancellation.

“Jay Leno is one of the most compelling entertainers in the world today. As we have said all along, Jay’s show has performed exactly as we anticipated on the network,” an NBC rep said in a statement issued Thursday. “It has, however, presented some issues for our affiliates. Both Jay and the show are committed to working closely with them to find ways to improve the performance.”

“The Jay Leno Show” has been losing viewers since its debut, as have the local news programs that follow it in several major markets.
