  Report: Heidi Montag's mother 'horrified' at plastic surgery

  “Hills” star Heidi Montag’s mother was horrified to learn that her daughter elected to have ten plastic surgery procedures in one day as part of  a drastic, secret makeover, according to a report from People magazine.

  Nine weeks after Montag’s surgery, sources tell People that mother Darlene Egelhoff is “horrified and having a total breakdown” over the news. “She can’t wait to confront Heidi when she goes home.”

  In Case You Missed It: 'Jersey Shore' finale recap

  After a whirlwind season of fist pumping, tanning and punching, MTV’s hit series ‘Jersey Shore’ has come to an end. The housemates spent Labor Day weekend together and then bid adieu.

  In the bittersweet final episode, we find Ronnie outside Ocean Country Courthouse after being arrested for fighting, waiting for girlfriend Sammi to pick him up (although she slept in and got him a few hours late – oops).

  But the last show made sure to showcase its gem, Snooki, as she danced alone on the boardwalk, got rejected by man after man, but still found time to join with JWOWW in the hunt for “gorilla juiceheads,” or “hot Italian guys with muscles who love working out.”

  'Jersey Shore's' 'JWoww' to debut clothing line

  Capitalizing on her burgeoning fame, “Jersey Shore” star Jenni “JWoww” Farley recently announced the debut of her line of made-to-order party tops via her Web Site.

  But it seems the line of sling-tops have been picked up by a distributor, as Farley Tweeted to fans Thursday that Web sales have been immediately discontinued until her impending clothing line debut this spring.

  “Hey my clothing line is coming out late spring/early summer and … all sales on the Web site have been discontinued until then,” Farley Tweeted.

  JWoww can be seen in the tops, characterized by their plunging, cleavage-baring style, in several episodes of the hit MTV reality show.

  According to her Web site, Farley’s tops are the “ultimate in fashionable clothing,” and reinvent the term “sexy sophisticated.”

  Fox411 Exclusive: Liza Minnelli joining cast of 'Ugly Betty,' sources say

  Fox411.com has learned exclusively that Liza Minnelli is joining the cast of “Ugly Betty” this season.

  The Broadway and Hollywood icon begins work next week and will be appearing in multiple episodes later this season, say sources.

  Our set insiders tell us Liza will be playing Lena Korvinka, a high school drama teacher at Justin’s (played by Mark Indelicato) school.

  Liza has an intense filming schedule that begins in Brooklyn on January 28th and runs until February 12th, the sources say.

  “There were massive rumors last year, then again in early January that Liza was being courted for the show, but Liza originally hadn’t planned to do the show. ‘Ugly Betty’ producers presented her with a great offer and a hilarious story and they kept coming back to her,” said our source. “She’s going to be playing an outrageous drama teacher and it is going to be fun! Liza is excited to be playing another off-the-wall character like Lucille 2 on ‘Arrested Development’.”

  Liza was going to have knee replacement surgery at the end of January, but due to the ‘Ugly Betty’ schedule, it looks like she’s put that on hold. “She’s a professional and everyone is excited for her first day!” our insider said.

  A spokesman for Liza Minnelli told Fox411.com that he had no knowledge of Minnelli’s involvement with the hit show and said she was not currently on board.

  “Liza is a fan of ‘Ugly Betty’ but I am not aware of any current plans for her to join the cast,” said the rep.

  Emails to ABC were not returned.

  “Ugly Betty” went from a weak Friday time slot to a stronger place on ABC’s Wednesday night comedy schedule at 10PM this fall. So producers, including show star America Ferrera and Executive Producer Salma Hayek, are doing their best to bring in big names.

  “Salma has her eye on the what’s happening at all times, and she’s an involved woman in the production process. I wouldn’t rule out a chance that she will be back on the show as well,” said our insider. “The cast, crew and writers of the show are working hard to regain their following after the Friday night graveyard time slot.”

  IDOL 411: Ouch! Crotch-busting moves draw winces in "Pants, Part 2"

  “American Idol” auditions went from “Pants on the Ground” to “Pants Split Wide Open” in Orlando Wednesday night as 10,000 contestants risked physical pain and even the possibility of arrest to prove they could make it in Hollywood.

  Claiming he got his moves from “his friends who are adult entertainers” — or, as Simon clarified, “friends who shed their clothes for money” — 24-year-old Cornelius Edwards tore his jeans while doing a split that had male viewers wincing and crossing their legs.

  While we thought his biggest skill was his flexibility, Cornelius managed to get a “yes” from Simon, who uncharacteristically seems to have passed him through mainly for the freak-show factor.
