Jon Gosselin has a new girlfriend, 25-year-old snowboarder Morgan Christie, and the couple is already living together.

Why?

Because Gosselin may have nowhere else to go.

The former “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ star has moved on from former flame Hailey Glassman and temporarily moved in with Christie, a source close to Gosselin told Fox411.com.

The two met while Jon was vacationing in Utah months ago, and they had been close via phone and text messages throughout his relationship and breakup with Hailey, according to the insider.

That was back when Gosselin still had some money coming in and vague plans to start a reality show with Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan.

Those days are long gone.

“Jon can’t afford to pay his bills and a lot of people are asking for their money immediately,” the source said. “Jon doesn’t have money to pay lawyer bills, legal fees and Manhattan rent. He needs to get rid of the NYC apartment. It is all too much for him to handle.”

The source said Christie should be careful getting too close to Gosselin too soon.

“He and Morgan have been together for over a month, and they were friends long before that. She’s his rebound romance from Hailey and if she’s not careful, she will end up supporting him,” the insider warned.

For now, it sounds like the two are keeping busy with a lot of outdoor activities.

“Jon is staying with Morgan in Utah and they are hitting the slopes together. He felt like he needed to get away from the drama, so he escaped with Morgan to her family home,” the source said. “Jon still hasn’t figured out what he’s going to do next or how he’s going to make a regular paycheck. Kate is taking care of the kids pretty much on her own, aside from his occasional visits.”

Maybe a few weeks away from it all is what Gosselin needs to face getting his affairs in order?

“Morgan helps Jon relax and stress out less. The two of them were instant friends and he feels safe with her,” the insider blabbed. “It’s easy for him to forget about all the drama he’s created for himself when he’s hanging out with her.”
