  • Grammy Poll: Prince and Paris Jackson

    FOX 411 | Editor

    paris

How do Michael Jackson’s children go from being protected from reality their entire lives in ways we cannot even fathom to going on stage at the Grammys and pledging to continue their father’s work seven months after his death?

Do they have a chance in heck of navigating adolescence while the Jackson family and Michael Jackson’s long shadow inform their lives?

There are obviously kids on this planet which much bigger problems than theirs, but one still has to feel for their seemingly unnavigable path.

  • Grammy Poll: Green Day vs. Kings of Leon

    green-day

Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, upon accepting the Grammy for Best Rock Album on behalf of his band, remarked he was going to go do shots with Kings of Leon, the night’s previous rock Grammy winner.

Now that sounds like a party.

  • Grammy Poll: What should the Jonas Brothers do next?

The JBs just introduced the band Lady Antebellum at the Grammys, a trio that looks like it has what it takes to stay in the Grammy hunt for years to come.

    The JBs looked old.

    As in, older than 14.

They can’t exist any longer as the JBs that 8-year-old girls know and love. Heck, one of ‘em’s even married.

Here are a few “second act” ideas. Any work for you?

  • Grammy Poll: The changing of the guard?

    FOX 411 | Editor

    GagaGrammy640

We can see how Pink and Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez (who introduced Green Day why?) must be feeling like yesterday’s news with Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift generating all the pre-Grammy buzz.

And seeing them tonight reinforces that emotion.

Beyonce even went out and sang a medley of old songs that weren’t hers, after being featured on the pre-Grammy “60 Minutes.”

Going for an older demographic much?

There’s nothing wrong with change, it is inevitable, but Gaga and Swift seem to be hastening some exits.

  • Grammy Poll: Is Taylor Swift starting to grate on your nerves?

    FOX 411 | Editor

    Taylor600

Okay so she just won a Grammy for Best Country Album, after winning everything she could have possibly won last year, and she still acted like it was the biggest surprise of her life, like a gawky school girl who couldn’t believe that she had been voted Prom Queen.

We bought it last year before she became of the belle of the music world, but this year, it seemed disingenuous, forced, and packaged.

  • 'Jersey Shore' star Pauly D dating 'Teen Mom' star Farrah Abraham?

    (MTV)

It’s a match made at MTV.

It looks like “Jersey Shore” star Pauly D (AKA Paul Delvecchio) is dating “Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham, a source tells FOX411.com exclusively.

Pauly, who canoodled with JWOWW on the show, and who just signed with Britney Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph, was deejaying at a club in Houston, Texas, recently, and Farrah was there at his side, spies told FOX411.com. (Pauly reportedly charges upward of $7,000 per gig.)

Farrah hails from Iowa, so she must have made a special trip to see Pauly spin.

The 18 year-old single mom was recently in the news when her mother, Debra Danielson, was arrested for allegedly choking and hitting her.

Yo Pauly, you gotta break that stuff up yo!

  • IDOL 411: This week's 'Idol' universe news

    IDOL 411 |

    IDOLgraphic

Possible “Pants” plagiarism. Everybody wants Paula. A contestant gets an early boot. And the former Mr. Mariah Carey may replace Simon. It’s been a busy week for “Idol” news!

Someone Is Claiming Credit for That … Really?
A Motor City Fox affiliate thinks it has uncovered a massive scandal! General Larry Platt might have stolen his nation-buzzing ditty “Pants on the Ground” — from an unknown Michigan band’s 1996 song. We kind of doubt The General is plugged into ’90s underground suburban Detroit hip-hop.

WATCH the video for “Back Pockets on the Floor” and judge for yourself.

Jon Gosselin was picking up more than his share of freebies at Sundance this week.

Here he is displaying a perfectly apropos Jenny B message tee at the Talent Resources Sky Suite.

Smile, Jon – it’s not so bad!

(In case you have trouble reading the tee, it reads, “I’m the Love of My Life.”)

  • Mel Gibson asks Jewish reporter if he is being impartial in interview

    FOX 411 | Editor

    gibson3

Mel Gibson got defensive during an interview with KTLA-Los Angeles news reporter Sam Rubin.

Rubin asked Gibson if his absence from the big screen for almost eight years had anything to do with the the anti-Semitic remarks the actor made following a drunk driving arrest in 2006.

Gibson’s arrest report, which has since been expunged, stated that “Gibson yelled out, ‘The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world,’” and asked the arresting officer, “Are you a Jew?”

While refusing to admit he even made such remarks, Gibson asked Rubin, who is Jewish, “Do you have a dog in this fight?”

    Watch for yourself.

Chris Jericho and Greg Helms hoist some championship belts.

Greg “Hurricane” Helms and Chris Jericho were arrested at a Kentucky gas station early Thursday morning, TMZ reported.

The Web site says law enforcement sources told them that the two WWE stars were in a cab with several other people around 4 am when things allegedly turned violent.

Police told TMZ that several members of the group said Helms struck three people, including Jericho and a female passenger, before fleeing the scene.

SLIDESHOW: Pro Wrestlers Come and Gone.

When he returned, Helms and Jericho were arrested for public intoxication, before being released on bond.

The timing of the incident is particularly bad for Jericho, who appears on the March cover of Men’s Fitness magazine, which went on sale this week.
