She may seem shy and reserved next to larger-than-life husband Tom Cruise, but it turns out Katie Holmes doesn’t know how to keep quiet when it counts.

Eyewitnesses tell Fox411 that Katie and a group of her girlfriends stopped by a movie theater near her Manhattan apartment Saturday to catch the latest installment of the “Twilight” series “New Moon” where they proceeded to ruin the film for moviegoers.

“Katie came into the movie theater with two of her girlfriends in a great mood,” sources tell Fox411. “They bought tickets in advance to see ‘New Moon’ like all the rest of the Twihards. They checked out the snacks and then they took their seats and kept talking.”

All that would have seemed rather normal, except for the fact that they kept on gabbing throughout the entire film!

“Katie talked through all of ‘New Moon.’ It was unbelievable – they talked nonstop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie.”

After the chatty escapade, Katie spent the rest of the weekend with her step-daughter Isabella and daughter Suri (once again spotted in cold weather with no coat). The three girls were spotted shopping Saturday, where Katie seemed completely unaware that she ruined “New Moon” for a few die-hard “Twilight” fans.

Please, the New Moon was just as soapy as the first oe. Nothing happened during the movie, well, maybe there was a bit of action for 5 minutes, the rest was bad bad bad romance. And the sources that say Katie ruined it? (nothing to ruin, by the way) - unreliable. I live in New York and it is not cold even at the end of November. Everyone judging, get a life!

When I went to the midnight premiere of twilight, people screamed throughout the whole entire movie and because they read the book they were making their sounds and noises. And because I sat through twilight before new moon and everyone in their saw it except me. Everyone had their cellphones on either texting or on facebook. The guy sitting next to me was watching videos on his phone throughout the whole first one. So not sure what's worse, someone screaming or talking.

Oh please! I went to New Moon and there wasn't one person who wasn't saying something about the book, the movie, blah blah blah. Who cares if it was her talking? Poor thing is married to Tom Cruise.

Seriously people! Cut this woman some slack. Yes, someone should have treated Katie Holmes just like anyone else and asked her to keep it quiet, but have you ever talked to one of your friends during a movie at least once OR maybe left your cell phone on that disturbed the entire theator? Don't be so quick to bash someone without looking at your own mistakes first. The other thing: Suri looks like she is dressed like a typical little girl should be in her ma's arms--just minus the coat!

"Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie.” - and whose fault is that ? go to the manager ask them to tyake care of the problem, or ask for your money back to come back at another time, or just say SHHHHHHHHHHH.

Sick of Katie and the news surrounding her. I wish she would JUST GO AWAY!!!! I would have definitely told her to please be quiet, and been polite while doing so. For her to talk through an entire movie, is just so rude.

Not my business, and who cares? But, Suri needs a comb, comfy shoes, a jacket and what's with the spacey, unfocused expression all the time?
