Jane Krakowski hearts James Franco.

That's what the actress, who plays kooky Jenna Maroney on "30 Rock," told Fox411 at the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation Gala honoring those affected with spinal cord injuries, at the Marriott Marquis this week.

Apparently, in addition to his new gig on "General Hospital," Franco is playing Krakowski's new "30 Rock" love interest.

“James Franco! Can you believe it?" she squealed. "He’s playing a character named James Franco put through the '30 Rock' writer’s machine. Jenna, my character, loves having a showmance!”

Jane says their brief affair was uplifting, thanks to Franco. “James is lovely, gorgeous and very funny. It was a nice little perk for Jenna and me! Sparks briefly flew!”

She said Franco also let her in on some of his "General Hospital" shenanigans.

“It was wild. James told me all about the character on 'GH' but he swore me to secrecy and said I couldn’t tell anyone else," she told Fox411. "James told me he was so excited to do the pace of a soap opera. He wanted the difference and the challenge.”

Franco isn't the only Krakowski-linked actor trying something new on TV. "30 Rock" co-star Alec Baldwin just announced  he would be co-hosting the Oscars with Steve Martin this year.

“Alec Baldwin is going to be great and crazy on the Oscars with Steve! The whole cast and crew is really excited," said Krakowski. "He and Steve hold the record for most hosting gigs on 'SNL' and they are always fighting to out-host each other, so now they will host together and even the score!”
