It looks like Jon Gosselin may have lost yet another fan or two as girlfriend Hailey Glassman’s parents are begging the embattled reality dad to dump their daughter because he is “ruining her life.”
The shocking news came in the form of a phone call Jon received last week from Hailey’s parents, former friends of the father of eight.
“The Glassman's asked Jon to dump Hailey,” a source told Fox411. “They want him to break up with her and let her go. They feel like being with Jon is ruining her life. Her parents tried to appeal to Jon's compassionate side and said that if he would just break up with her, they would handle the aftermath and help her through it."
The Glassmans are worried for Hailey's prolonged time under the microscope. "It will be difficult for her to get a job and have a normal life after all of this and they don't imagine Jon and Hailey together forever. Hailey's parents are desperate to get her out of the limelight and hoped that Jon would listen, but they are still dating. Jon is going through so much right now with the divorce and the TLC trial, he couldn't end it with Hailey. She is one of the few people left in his life he can trust. Jon is not in a place he could selflessly let her go."
And as the drama of his love life rolls on, Jon is gearing up for his TLC trial over the next 3 weeks.
"Jon is very nervous now that he sees his entire trusted team and Michael Lohan being called on to testify,” the source close to Jon tells 411. “Michael was key in getting him to shut down Kate Plus 8, he visited Jon and pushed hard for Jon to hear his views on blocking Kate from getting the kids on a continued show. Jon regrets forming a strong bond with Michael and trusting him so easily. Jon is worried about what Michael will say on the stand. Jon is under more pressure and stress than he imagined with the trial looming."
AT Xmas they'll get back together and continue making millions. Wanna bet? All will be forgotten, Kate will continue her emasculating of him and ratings will be up again. Jon is backed against a wall now & the only way either of them can make money is by having that stupid show.
FINALLY Hailey's parents are stepping up and trying to protect their daughter. I know that a lot of people have called her a "homewrecker" - just as I did initially. However, after several interviews, it is obvious that Hailey is just a 22-year old who got sucked in by Jon. She is very very YOUNG. And I think she is compassionate and was probably misled by Jon telling her that it had been over for months with Kate. Hailey's parents ARE right though. Jon IS ruining their daughter's life!
I'm sure if Hailey's parents offered to pay Jonboy to leave their daughter alone, he'd take them up on their offer. After all, he's not going to have any money to live on after TLC gets done with him.
Him countersue TLC? HAHAHAHA! What a joke.
He needs to be under stress!!! he left his wife and 8 children so he could go party and have big fun. Shame on him, and i am glad he has to sweat out all this stuff. He never should have begun a new relationship, while still legally married. I hope Kate gets her show back, and that jon has to pay child support, maybe hhaving to be responsible, will make him grow up, being he seems to be a little boy in a grown man's body.
Recently, Jon actually said that he only knew Lohan a few days and then he said Lohan showed up at his PA home "uninvited." Obviously, Jon was making an attempt at distancing himself from Lohan. Jon is ONLY about Jon! God bless Dr. & Mrs. Glassman for their attempt at rescuing Hailey! They are gems and if Jon had any decency, he would honor their wishes and let Hailey live a normal life WITHOUT HIM! But, again, Jon is ONLY about Jon--what he can get out of anyone or anything. Hailey, leave him!
And to think I felt bad for him, Kate telling him what to do so often drove me crazy, well on his own it's clear to me now he's a half functioning idiot man/child.
You should know things are not going well and your choices may be off kilter if you have a Lohan knocking at your door!
I don't know... It seems that her own limelight-hungry behavior and general undeserved feelings of entitlement are more damaging than her association with Jon. If her parents have a problem with anything, it should be with her, and they should be working with her to resolve it - not Jon. (Not that I care about any of this to begin with. Just sayin.)
Jon should be worried. Under oath is a strong convincer to tell the truth. Jon did this to himself. I, for one, hope he does split from Hailey Glassman because they are both bad for each other and Hailey is not what anyone wants for a stepmother . . . the Glassman's should be concerned for Hailey without Jon . . . look at her lifestyle pre-Jon. TLC has a strong case and Jon will shortly look like the fool he is. Michael Lohan is the last person you want at your side. He did so well with Lindsey!
