  In the past week, Jon Gosselin has returned the thousands of dollars he secretly snuck out of his and wife Kate Gosselin’s bank account, and he has reunited with Kate’s brother and sister-in-law.

  Could Jon be turning over a new leaf and trying to right some past wrongs?

  Not so much.

  It turns out Jon Gosselin is on a major press offensive that’s planned to continue for weeks to come, in which he will try paint soon-to-be-ex Kate as a bad mom, and himself as a hapless victim, Fox411 has learned.

  But for all the behind-the-scenes machinations taking place, it turns out the main player is not even the main man behind the PR strategy, says a source inside the Jon and Kate Gosselin drama.

  Leonardo DiCaprio looked at a new luxury penthouse at EVO in downtown Los Angeles, two blocks from the Staples Center. He was there to film a scene for his movie, “Oliver’s Arrow,” and stopped residents to talk about the eco-friendly building.

  David Hasselhoff dined with a male pal at Rue 57 in New York. “The Road” star Michael Kenneth Williams sat a few tables away from The Hoff, who was incognito in glasses and wisely drinking water.

  Tony Hawk played bartender at the Quiksilver store in SoHo where he opened beer bottles off the bar and helped pour glasses of Barefoot Wine as fans took pictures of him.

  Pam Anderson brought the 9 year-old daughter of her stylist to the Hollywood Style Awards in LA. The little girl was spotted carrying the train of Pam’s dress, while she sipped on redleaf water.

  Jeff Goldblum made a quick stop at the launch of Oceana New York, a nonprofit, between shooting scenes of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent in the city.” The bachelor was mesmerized by the twin mermaids who greeted him at the door.

  The cast of Gossip Girl, including Blake Lively and Ed Westwick, have a new set at The Gates nightclub in Chelsea, New York. The hotspot will serve as Chuck Bass’ new club on the show, The Gimlet Club, throughout the season.

  Sources: Lindsay Lohan so desperate she is working for free

  Lindsay Lohan might want to think about getting a part time job that actually pays.

  Sources tell Fox411 that while the starlet poured her time and effort into her work with fashion house Emmanuel Ungaro for Paris Fashion Week, Lohan, 23, has not been paid for her work.

  “Ungaro is not paying her at all to be a consultant for them,” a source close to Lohan told 411. “Her team is working to get Lindsay some form of payment from the fashion house, but right now they will only give her free clothes.”

  And while the line was universally slammed by critics, the legendary fashion house seems to have made a savvy business decision in bringing Lohan on board for free.

  Their Saturday morning cartoon was banned for being too sexy. Their documentary “Your Mommy Kills Animals” was deemed “too controversial.” Their MTV special was canceled for being inappropriate.

  Jodie Sweetin to release memoir detailing drug, alcohol abuse

  “Full House” star Jodie Sweetin is gearing up to reveal details of her checkered past in a new bombshell tell-all memoir.

  Sweetin, 27, played sweet middle-child Stephanie Tanner on “Full House” from 1987 to 1995. But as Sweetin matured from child to teen star, she found herself slipping deeper into a dark world of drug and alcohol abuse.

  In an exclusive preview in Star magazine, Sweetin says that she spent years desperately trying to prove that she wasn’t the girl from “Full House” and that she could get more “trashed than everyone else.”

  At just fourteen years old, Sweetin found herself turning to the bottom of a wine glass in search of confidence. After getting drunk and passing out in the restroom at co-star Candace Cameron’s 1994 wedding, she says she woke up the next day and realized, “I was Jodie Sweetin and I was an alcoholic.”

  After realizing her issue, things only got worse for the young star, who later turned to pot, cocaine and crystal meth. At her lowest, she even drove drunk with her infant daughter Zoie in the car.

  Playboy Faceoff: Marge Simpson vs. Alina Puscau

  The world was abuzz a few weeks ago when wholesome animated housewife Marge Simpson graced the cover of Playboy magazine.

  But according to Foxnews.com’s Pop Tarts, Simpson wasn’t the only beauty to grace the cover of the famed men’s magazine, as she shared the honor with supermodel Alina Puscau.

  Puscau, who is the girlfriend of “X-Men: The Last Stand” director Brett Ratner, said she had no problem sharing the cover with the wife of Homer Simpson.

  “I was so excited to hear that I would be sharing the cover of Playboy with Marge Simpson. She is much more famous than I am so I suspected she would get all the attention.”

  Lindsay Lohan was in New York while her ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson was hanging out with her ex-best friend Nicole Richie in L.A. (X17Online.com)

  Nicole Richie had her second child, Sparrow, a month ago, but that hasn’t stopped her from going out and having a good time with friends.

  On Friday night, Nicole and boyfriend/baby daddy Joel Madden went out dancing and drinking at Playhouse Hollywood with pal Samantha Ronson. Nicole and the gang did shots of lemon drops and danced together in the VIP room. At one point, Nicole coaxed Sam to get in the DJ booth and spin some of their favorite songs, even though Sam was off the clock.

  Clubgoers tell Fox411 that Sam and Nicole were acting like best friends, a scene that put Lindsay Lohan over the edge once she heard about it.
