The producers of "90210," a show based in Beverly Hills, don't want the show's leading ladies getting too tanned.
In fact, FOX411 has learned they've placed Jessica Lowndes on a tanning time-out!
At least that's what her castmate AnnaLynne McCord was overheard chirping at a recent Hollywood event.
"AnnaLynne was telling a few people at an Emmy gift suite that producers have been giving everyone hell for their obsession with sun-kissed skin, and they've even banned Jessica from any tanning of any kind, whether it's from natural sunlight, tanning salon beds or a spray-on tan," says the spy. "AnnaLynne was just glad she wasn't targeted. She said she looks forward to her Fake Bake spray tan every time she gets it."
Lowndes, on the other hand, is apparently not amused.
"Apparently Jessica was not pleased and complained to AnnaLynne about it,"says the snitch. "She doesn't want her skin to turn a pasty white while AnnaLynne stays beautifully bronzed!"
i think jessica looks better with lighter skin, besides when she is older she will look disgusting! stars these days are to obbsessed with being tan!!!! they need to just love the skin they have

Its not like they go pale in a week. And unless they totally lock someone away under ground their still going to get sun driving their cars or walking to or from it. I highly doubt that banned her from those things & if so she should sue as being held captive.
That's just terrible. This is truly a heartbreaking story, i really feel for the girl. I just don't know what i'd do if my tanning priveliges got revoked. Pale skin is the bane of my existence
i wish my sisters would read this...this obsession with being tanned ALL the time is getting ridiculous. sure, i don't mind a little sunkissed skin, in fact it's sexy and looks healthy, but to be out in the sun everyday until your skin is crisp and start to wrinkle? really unnattractive. i think it's an addiction like any other, and when it's obvious the skin starts looking old and burnt, i've heard girls say "omigod, i'm soo white, i need to tan again, i haven't been out in 2 days! get a life!

Its not affecting me or what im going through or about to go through lol, but seriously thats sad when all they have to talk about is who's tan is to dark i wonder which show they will put her on next lol. when we have people off fighting for or country getting taned on a daily basis and some not by choice ! You would never tell a black person they need to 'bleach their skin' to be pretty, would you ? Appearantly 'love the skin you're in' only applies to a select group of people; ie, people who are NOT white. Instead, caucasians have to be brown to be beautiful. How stupid.
10 years from now when her friend looks like a piece of leatherform over exposure she'll thank them. She can laugh about on the way to the cancer ward to visit her friend.
Jessica doesn't have to be so upset about it. She's gorgeous and perfect the way she is right now. She doesn't want to get too tanned. It's not too attractive when you're really tanned, especially if the tan's fake. That's my opinion. I think Jessica should be happy with the way she is right now. The tan she should have should be more natural looking, not too pale and not too dark. I think that's all she needs. I don't get why so many girls want to be so tanned.
