As Alex Rodriguez practiced with the New York Yankees in the Bronx for the first game of the playoffs on Tuesday afternoon, Kate Hudson was donning a wedding dress just a few miles away in Manhattan. Does that mean the famous couple is ready to walk down the aisle after a whirlwind summer romance?
Well, not really. Kate was actually dressed up for a Harper's Bazaar magazine photo shoot. But the way her relationship with A-Rod is progressing, sources tell FOX411 the real thing may not be far off.
"Kate and Alex are definitely in serious love right now. Kate will spend every free minute with him and she happily brings son, Ryder, along with her to games and on trips to be with Alex," says an insider. "They are sharing one of her Los Angeles homes and his New York bachelor pad, but recently they have moved into a second home in Purchase, New York. Alex has to be close to New York for work and his daughters, Natasha and Ella, and Kate has always been fond of the city, so they compromised and got their own place near Manhattanville College."
The loved-up twosome has been spotted with his daughters and her son playing, walking down Purchase Street and even having romantic date nights together. "Kate wanted Ryder to meet Alex's daughters, and now the three kids play together. They make an adorable blended family," says the source. "He makes plenty of time for family meals, and especially dates with Kate. [On a recent] Saturday night, they visited BLT Steak in White Plains for dinner and spent a few romantic hours together, just the two of them."
The friend says marriage looks like a good bet. "Kate is head over heels for Alex and he feels the same way. As long as things continue to be so great, they will get married. They are practically there already with the shared homes, the children and balancing work."
Editor's Note: A-Rod must win the Yankees a World Series before embarking on any long-term relationship with a Hollywood actress. If this is not in his contract, it should be. Go Yankees!

Why do women (Kate) think that they will be treated differently than the women prior in A-Rod's life? This man had a wife and children and left them. Women always think that "they will be different with them" but the only thing the guy changes is the women he's with. Wake up women! Find men who actually have integrity!
