  FOX411 EXCLUSIVE: 'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris hits Fashion Week with wrong bachelor...

  “The Bachelorette” seemed to have forgotten who she gave the final rose to in this year’s season finale. 

  Jillian Harris was at the Rosa Cha fashion show Thursday in New York, but she came with also-ran Mike Steinberg, not her chosen fiance, Ed Swiderski.

  With all of the charges of infidelity on Ed’s part swirling, is there trouble in reality paradise?

  Not according to Jillian.

  “Ed was supposed to be here today, but then he didn’t book his flight, and then he tried to book his flight, and they were too expensive. So I’m here with Mike Steinberg,” Jillian said at the event. “Ed was like, why don’t you have Steinberg sit in for me? That will make for some great news.”

  But Jillian refused to discuss the allegations that Swiderski cheated on her.

  “I don’t want to talk about any of that. One thing I’ve realized the most, the one thing we’ve learned, is how to make our relationship private again, and that’s really hard for me, because I love to give information and love to tell people when they ask me questions, because I’m so open,” she said. “But what I’ve learned is best for me is to look out for me and my family. [Ed] is not into the limelight so I have to sneak our relationship away from the limelight.”

  She was happy, however, to divulge some reasons why she and Ed are meant to be.

  “We have so much fun together. We cook together. We make margaritas. We love to nap at the same time, to wake up at the same time. We are a lot alike.”

  Maragaritas, food, and naps. The secrets to any successful marriage, indeed.

  FOX411 EXCLUSIVE: Alec Baldwin has a "back double" on 30 Rock

  Do you watch “30 Rock”? If so, have you ever noticed how many times in a scene involving the show’s Emmy-winning star, Alec Baldwin, you only see Baldwin from the side or the back?

  Well, it turns out there’s a good reason for that.

  An inside source tells FOX411 that the actor insists on only working three days a week so he can travel back to Los Angeles to spend time with his daughter Ireland. So “30 Rock” creator and star, Tina Fey, has built rehearsals and scenes around Alec’s absence, using a stand-in during filming.

  “Tina saves Alec’s speaking lines for his arrival on set, but everything else is shot with a stand-in,” an on-set source tells FOX411.

  Now, for big stars like Baldwin, it is not unusual to have stand-in for some rehearsals and scene blocking.  The difference is, the stand-ins are rarely used during actual filming.

  “Those [body double takes] make it into the final cut of the show,” says our insider. “There are many back shots and side shots that don’t show Alec’s face, because it is his stand-in on Alec’s days off.”

  So, basically, they shoot every scene that does not require Baldwin’s mug first. “The goal is to have everything ready to shoot Alec when he’s there, with as little stress as possible,”  says the source. “He does not have the desire to be tied to a set six or seven days a week, and Tina was willing to work it so that he could get everything he wanted. Alec can pretty much do anything he wants at ‘30 Rock’.”

  But apparently, Baldwin doesn’t just use his “back double” to go see his daughter. The actor was spotted at the U.S. Open this week watching tennis while the rest of the cast was on the set.

  When asked for comment, NBC, which airs ”30 Rock,” had none.

  FOX411: Back to School with Britney - is this really a good idea?

  It’s probably not surprising that the star once famous for repeatedly forgetting to wear her underwear in public and walking barefoot into gross gas station bathrooms has what some may deem a weird sense of what is appropriate for “back-to-school” materials.

  Britney Spears is selling a handful of back-to-school items on her official website, including a laptop sleeve, a laundry bag, and a spiral-bound notebook with this provocative picture on it.

  Now, the text for each product leads one to believe that these are for college-age fans heading back to campus. (The notebook is even listed as “college-ruled.”)

  But seriously, how many college-age fans are toting Britney gear to Poli Sci 203, or even Comp Lit 101?

  In the real world, even though she herself is in her 20s and a mom twice over, Brit’s fan base is still muuuuch younger, which means these items are also being marketed to grade school girls.

  Plus the 90-page notebook is $10! Shipping extra!

  That may be even more shocking.

  FOX411: Audrina Patridge not pregnant, not dating brother, nor cousin...

  Audrina Patridge is moving straight from reality TV to the silver screen.  Best known as the sole brunette on MTV’s “The Hills,” (and for that Carls’ Jr. hamburger commercial), Patridge is trying out horror films with “Sorority Row,” premiering this weekend.

  In the cover interview for Maxim’s October issue, Patridge says she’s not very close to her Hills co-stars. “I barely talk to Lauren. We’ll text every now and then, but that’s about it. Heidi, um, keeps asking me to go to Bible study with her.”

  She’s also amazed by the rumors that buzz around her like flies. “That I have chin implants, cheek implants, a nose job…God, everything. I took my brother out one night, and he was my boyfriend the next day. I went out with a cousin another night, then he was my boyfriend. Someone also said I was pregnant with somebody’s love child. I was like, ‘Do I look pregnant?’”

  Um, in this picture? Not so much.

  FOX411 EXCLUSIVE: Kate Gosselin stays close to home when Jon has kids

  While Jon Gosselin is going very public with his dissatisfaction over his treatment by his soon-to-be-ex Kate Gosselin, she is committed to taking the high road and focusing on the kids, says one insider.

  “Kate does not want to get involved in a public war with Jon, even though she is very upset over the new interview,” a family friend tells FOX411, referring to a Tuesday interview on “Good Morning America” in which Jon claimed Kate was regularly shirked her mother-of-eight duties.

  “She’s on book tours. She’s doing all of these things,” Jon told the morning show. “You know, she’s gone a week. You know, comes back. Packs up and leaves again.”

  The insider tells FOX411 that Kate is holding her fire because “she knows that one day too soon, [daughters] Mady and Cara will be able to see reports of their divorce on the Internet.”

  She is also taking measures to spend more time with her kids, says the pal. “Kate decided to cut back on excessive work trips to stay close to the children. She wants to make sure they are as unaffected by the problems between she and Jon as possible.”

  But that is apparently proving to be a hard slog. “When Kate and Jon are around each other for the children, they don’t speak to each other,” says the pal. “It is difficult.”

  Kate is also committed to staying close to her kids, even when she turns the children over to Jon under their back-and-forth custody agreement.  When Jon has custody, Kate tries to stay within 10 miles of the house in case there is an emergency, says the insider.

  “The split and custody arrangement is harder than anything Kate imagined,” says the source. “She is lonely at times, but she has a few friends who check in on the long weekends she is all by herself.”

  Kate is using some of her free time to plan for her family’s future, her career and what will come after “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ goes off the air.

  Kate’s next public project will be guest hosting “The View” on September 14th and 15th. The source says “Kate is testing out the waters in a different TV format on ‘The View’. She enjoys being on-air, and people have been impressed with her so far. Kate is a little nervous but excited for the opportunity.”

  FOX411: Joan Rivers slams Jay Leno's move to prime time...

  Joan Rivers isn’t pulling any punches when it comes to the former King of Late Night’s move to prime time.

  The plastic-surgery loving comedienne, who was once a regular “Tonight Show” guest host during the Johnny Carson years (before he ended up hating her guts), gave an interview to BettyConfidential.com, where she threw a hard left at Jay Leno, whose new 10pm talk show premieres on September 14.

  When asked what she thought of the funnyman’s controversial move (he is the first former “Tonight Show” host to try to take his audience to a new time slot on the same network), Rivers said:

  I think he will put America to sleep even earlier. And that’s good because it will save power and light.

  Ah yes, celebrities helping the environment.

  Perhaps Mr. Leno will have a response in his first monologue?

  FOX411 Poll: What's the worst Beatles song ever?

  We know, we know. The Beatles were so great. With all of their studio albums being released tomorrow digitally remastered, and all of the hullaballoo surrounding the Rock Band Beatles edition, you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a baby boomer rock critic prattling on about how they changed the world, defined a generation, and wrote the best songs ever known to man.

  Well, we were always more partial to The Rolling Stones, (the Beatles were such mama’s boys) and all of this Beatles worship is really starting to get to us. (Plus our two favorite Beatles are dead, so we’re a little bitter already anyway.)

  FOX411 VIDEO: Bridget Marquardt says new house just like Playboy Mansion...

  Former Playboy “Girl Next Door” Bridget Marquardt hosted the sexy fashion show Celebrity Catwalk this week to benefit National Animal Rescue, and she talked to FOX411 about how her own furry friends are doing in her brand new house.

  “I found a house and have been there for about two weeks,” she told FOX411. “I think its comparable [to the Playboy Mansion]! I have a lot of bedrooms, a lot of bathrooms, I have a pool. I have what I call the ‘great hall’ like the mansion has.”
