  Jessica Simpson's pup dognapped by coyote

  When Jessica Simpson’s poor little pooch was taken by a coyote earlier this week, the star did what any celebrity would do – she took to Twitter.

  The 29-year-old star Tweeted: “A coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”

  But as celebrity dog trainer Jennifer McCarthy pointed out to Us magazine, “Obviously, coyotes don’t Twitter, so that would be essentially not effective in this case.”

  Unfortunately for Simpson, the 5-year-old Maltipoo’s chances of survival are slim, as the coyote probably ate the poor little pup.

  Still, Simpson offered a reward via Twitter for Daisy, who was  a gift from ex-husband Nick Lachey.

  One wonders what coyotes are charging these days …

  Jon Gosselin "wasn't the best" in bed, says ex-nanny

  Just when you think you have heard every story imaginable out of the Gosselin camp, something like this comes along.

  Jon and Kate Gosselin’s nanny, Stephanie Santoro, says she and Jon had sex nine times, and that, in the sack, the father of eight ”wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t the best I ever had.”

  Santoro, 23, tells the sordid tale in an exclusive interview with In Touch magazine, with even more details of how the lumpy lothario seduced the woman who was supposed to be taking care of his children.

  It all started with the classic “Can you rub my shoulders? Now, can I rub yours?” lead-up to some serious hot-tub smooching.

  Then, Jon laid down a line every man would do well to avoid.

  Santoro says on their first night together, Gosselin told her: “Whatever you do, don’t fall in love with me, because it’s going to be impossible for me not to fall in love with you.”

  Santoro says they made their way to the hot tub where she was afraid “one of the kids was going to pop their heads out, but he told me to relax.”

  After the kids were safely asleep, they retired to his apartment over the garage where Santoro said “we continued what was going on in the hot tub.”

  Remember Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi? They were two of the random hangers-on who became Britney Spears’ closest confidantes during her downward, head-shaving spiral.

  Could Jon Gosselin be the next celeb pricing electric razors?

  Gosselin is aligning himself with a crew reminiscent of the folks Britney Spears was running with just before her breakdown, insiders tell FOX411. A source close to Gosselin says the “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ star is putting his trust in people who are just using him for fame and cash.

  “Jon decided he needed to have a security team this summer after seeing Kate’s security team, led by Steve Nield. He wanted to go all out and make it seem professional, so he hired one of the paparazzi/photographers he became friends with to become his head of security,” the pal tells FOX411. “He met the guy and instantly trusted him with his safety.”

  And it sounds like his new security detail is just the tip of Gosselin’s parasite iceberg.

  FOX411 EXCLUSIVE: Kara DioGuardi spills on sharing stage with Ellen DeGeneres

  Kara DioGuardi, last season’s new judge on “American Idol,” tells FOX411 she’s thrilled to have Ellen DeGeneres on the show full-time because now she’s not the new kid at school anymore!

  The songwriter says she’s excited to share the table with the comedian, and is also crossing her fingers that Ellen can convince Justin Timberlake to stop by the set.

  “It would be exciting if Ellen coaxed him into being on the show,” she told FOX411. “He’s a tremendous performer, and he’s made the leap from going from a band to a hugely successful solo career. We have a lot of performers attempting to do just that and it takes a very specific set of skills.”

  DioGuardi spent her weekend in and out of the hair and makeup chair getting ready to attend the MTV Video Music Awards and one fashion show after another in New York. FOX411 caught up with her at the Byron and Tracey salon at the Metropolitan Showtime house for our exclusive interview between her appearances.

  “I found out about Ellen on the plane to New York on Wednesday night, ” DioGuardi said. “I was taking a nap and my manager woke me and said, ‘Ellen’s going to be on Idol!’”

  DioGuardi said she had “heard rumblings, but everything is always a surprise to me on ‘Idol.’ I’m the newbie, so I show up an hour early for work. I’m like an eager puppy. The last few weeks with Paula leaving and Ellen joining were all very unexpected, but now there’s someone newer than me!”

  The “Idol” judge gave several reasons DeGeneres would make a great addition to the show. “Ellen has an incredible, positive attitude, and she’s a lover of music,” said DioGuardi. “She’s a die hard fan of ‘American Idol.’ She’s an accomplished performer, someone who’s won Emmys. She proves on her show that she can bring out the best in her fans and in her guests – even the audience. Ellen knows how to make people have a good time.”

  DioGuardi said DeGeneres brings an added star-maker’s eye to the judge’s panel, too. “Music, singing and arranging are an important part of the show, but the additional component is being a star, and Ellen knows how to be a star and give people a true sense of who she is. She’ll be able to bring out the stars on ‘American Idol’ this season.”

  Will you watch Kanye West on Jay Leno premiere tonight?

  Before he upset Taylor Swift and the rest of Western Civilization, Kanye West was already booked to perform on the premiere of Jay Leno’s new prime-time show tonight, along with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

  With calls for Kanye boycotts filling the Internets, this brings up an interesting dilemna.

  Do you stand in solidarity with Ms. Swift by not watching Kanye tonight?

  Or, do you wach the show, but turn it off after Jerry Seinfeld, the first guest?

  Or, do you watch the whole thing to be there for the next installment in this growing controversy?

  Or, do you instead watch the quality programming that’s always available on your local FOX station, as you would have regardless?

  Harrison Ford says he's ready for 'Indiana Jones 5'...

  Harrison Ford may turn 70 in three years, but it sounds like he’s ready to put on the old fedora and brave the snakes as Indiana Jones at least one more time.

  “The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form,” Ford told France’s Le Figaro magazine. “Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”

  Ford reprised his role in last year’s “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” after a 13-year hiatus. Shia LaBouef  played Jones’ son Mutt in series’ fourth installment, and he also recently told  the BBC, “Steven [Spielberg]’s just said that he’s cracked the story.”

  Now all the need is to get Sean Connery back! Flashbacks maybe?

  Lady Gaga and Dr. Ruth bring the sexy to the same party!

  Celebrities including Whoopi Goldberg, Lady Gaga and Eli Manning turned up at the BGC Partners annual Charity Day on Friday, September 11th to raise money for their favorite charities. Lady Gaga got on the phone to make trades while singing her hit, Poker Face, over and over, while Whoopi Goldberg cracked jokes about the cute traders. (BGC was created as Cantor Fitzgeral re-built following the World Trade Center attacks. CF was the worst hit company on 9/11 losing 658 of their employee.)

  As Lady Gaga entered the building “Gossip Girl’s” Sebastian Stan warned, “I think the space ship just arrived outside!” Gaga for her Mercy Center charity, to tells us, “I helped broker deals worth over $4 billion dollars. I’m from New York and I was born and raised here, so it was important to me to be a part of this day.”

  Whoopi flirted with the traders while working the phones like a professional. “This is my third year on the floor, so I know what I’m doing now!” Whoopi was there to support one of her hundreds of charities, Gardens of Dreams, and tells FOX411, “Everyone should get involved. I work with as many charities as I can and I will keep adding more!

  A sprite, 82 year-old Dr. Ruth bragged, “I made more than Ivanka Trump this year and last year I made more than Donald Trump. I’m unstoppable! All the cute boys on the trading floor love me. They look at me and they think about sex. The ones who gave me the biggest trades got to hear how they are going to have terrific sex!”

  All BGC’s revenues from the trades of the day are donated to charity.

  Lauren Conrad's a no-show at Whitney Port's first NYC fashion show

  Whitney Port was always front row regular at “The Hills” co-star Lauren Conrad’s various West Coast Fashion Week shows, so many were surprised when LC was a no-show at Port’s first ever showing at New York Fashion Week on Thursday night.

  FOX411 heard that word behind-the-scenes was  Conrad was flying in to support Port, but canceled at the last minute due to “other commitments.”

  Nonetheless the show went on, her ex-boyfriend Jay Lyon came out instead, and Port’s feminine collection hit the runway alongside pro’s Mara Hoffman and Nicholas K, which had both pluses and minuses.

  “Whitney was embarrassed about it because they are professional designers and she’s just starting,” one insider told us.

  The three designers then finished the night off together, however, with a celebratory cake at new SoHo restaurant, Le Souk Harem.
