Kendra Wilkinson is very upset over hubby Hank Baskett's dismissal from the Philadelphia Eagles, FOX411 has learned. She is in her final trimester and furious that Michael Vick is on the team, let alone taking her husband's spot.

The two men play different positions, with Vick the Eagles' backup quarterback and Baskett a wide receiver. But an NFL roster only allows for 53 players, so Hank was released to make room for Vick on Tuesday.

"Kendra obviously loves animals, so she was very unhappy with Vick being picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles," friends of Kendra tell Fox 411. "She stayed quiet for Hank and out of respect for the team, but as an animal lover, it was difficult. Now Hank is without a job basically because of Michael Vick. She's sad that this is how Hank's time with the Eagles is ending."

The petite star of "Kendra" and "The Girls Next Door" is in the final trimester of her pregnancy and on a strict new budget, thanks to EARLY warnings from Hank. "They were not completely shocked by the recent turn of events. Hank has been preparing her for the possibility that he could be released at any time, and Kendra has really been saving a lot of money with the new baby coming," says the insider. "She was nervous, but hopeful that Hank would remain with the team."

With husband Hank out of work, at least for now, Kendra is now the main breadwinner in the family. "Kendra is much smarter than people would ever believe based on her TV show. She's really just playing a sillier, ditzier version of herself - she's actually an intelligent businesswoman," the pal explains. "She's working on a continued deal with E! for her show, but the LA house they filmed in last season is gone, and Kendra wanted to settle in New Jersey and raise hear family in the suburbs. She's not dying to go back to Los Angeles, but if she needs to for work, she will."
