Harrison Ford may turn 70 in three years, but it sounds like he's ready to put on the old fedora and brave the snakes as Indiana Jones at least one more time.
"The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form," Ford told France's Le Figaro magazine. "Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I'll be very happy to put the costume on again."
Ford reprised his role in last year's "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" after a 13-year hiatus. Shia LaBouef played Jones' son Mutt in series' fourth installment, and he also recently told the BBC, "Steven [Spielberg]'s just said that he's cracked the story."
Now all the need is to get Sean Connery back! Flashbacks maybe?
The last one was NOT a big disappointment. If you look back to Sean Connery's role in the third film...it is obvious that Indy was taking on that role and that Mutt was the new Indy. I thought it was an excellent story. That is one of the greatest "conspiracy theories" ever. The FBI acted just the way I expected for the time period and you got an answer as to what Indy had been doing all those years since the third movie.
I look foward to the 5th movie and possibly more!!
I was disappointed in the 4th. If you make a 5th, please help Indy to look younger and more agile. The story line was good but the actual script was sluggish and choppy. If Sean Connery's character can age and act gracefully so should Indy's.
Bring it on! Make it the best one yet. End Indy's career with a bang! I hope that when I reach his age to look that good.
Just please make sure No aliens and people swinging from trees with CGI monkeys
Come on guys lets make a good one for the millions of fans who supported the last film with hope of seeing Harrison portray Indy for the last time
Make it a memorable film!
How is a spaceship any more ridiculous than the ark of the covenant or the holy grail? Actually, I'd have to say that alien life forms are far more plausible than a supernatural boogeyman who bestows ordinary objects with magical powers.
They have a lot to make up for. Lucas was a bit too old fashioned (and therefore repetitive) in his approach to Indy 4; hopefully, with Spielberg's input, he'll rebound like his did with Star Wars Episode 3.

redemption i say. Give us the best one yet. I agree the last one didn't fit with the whole alien ending, a real dissapointment.

JC got it right... We can't let the series end with Crystal Skull.
