After a brief respite from the spotlight, pop princess Shakira is coming back with a new album and video that unleashes her inner "she wolf."
FOXNews.com's Pop Tarts got a sneak peek of Shakira, 32, "flashing pretty much all her flesh" as "she contorts and kicks while confined in a cage" in the upcoming vid.
"I'm less shy now that I hit my 30's," she told Tarts. "After that happens you feel a little bit more free, you accept yourself in many different ways and your more comfortable in your own flesh."
Hold the phone. The hip-shaking, body-gyrating, human rubber band Shakira was uncomfortable in her own flesh?
She is playing to the American market, so she had to simplyfy her lyrics and tart herself up its all they understand. I'm amazed she kept a couple of big words in She Wolf, that should make a lot of Americans borrow a dictionary.
Shakira will always be a very talented star, great dancer and good song writer, she has it all, and now that she is in her 30s she can dare to release her Feminity EVEN MORE, and experiment new things, she can do whatever she wants to evolutionate and grow as an artist, people change with the time, WE ALL DO... that's what she's doing. and i love it! she is very talented.
She is a very good entertainer whether she has her blond curls or the natural color. Color of hair does not make the singer.
I have all of her CD's and have followed her career for years. All of her music is great although I think the Spanish ones are the best. Do want you want Shakira and you will continue to be happy and successful. Your track record is proof of that.
i to have know shakira since her beginnings, but unlike others, i know artists have to evolve. they cant just keep doing the same cd over and over again right? would you buy the same cd for over a decade? be real, her songs still have that wittiness to them, and who cares if she shakes around... dont she look good doing it? :)
She didn't have to shake her hips but it helps. More women should shake their hips. Imagine the dramatic global increase in husbands helping out around the house if their wives would just shake their hips.
She needs to go back to the black hair, and stop pretending to be something she's not. She didn't have to shake her hips and act dumb to be successful before. Bold hair and dumb lyrics? What happened to the ciega sordomuda, with gatos en la casa?
anyway... what do I know right? I've just known her since she was a teen.
